The brexit thread thread will go on forever. Brexiteers will pat themselves on the back for winning democracy and stating how they are happy with how everything is turning out because they get better sleep - while not being able to give a measurable improvement in anything to back it all up. Then you open a Tory/Reform thread and read how everything's a disaster and the government hasn't given them what they want.

For balance, you forgot go add:

While Remainers will continue on with their incessant whining, moaning & gnashing of teeth whilst pulling endless supposedly argument ending statistics out of their arses. Meanwhile, the world moves on while the EU continues to be exactly what it was that caused 17+M people to say "fk that".

How’s net migration looking by comparison ? Control of boarders was apparently a big Brexit driver.
I think both sides of the debate favour discipline in public scools.

I thought he was referring to dryliners. Hard to find decent gangs post-Brexit.

It's clearly a reference to the recent BBC comedy drama in the light of budget cuts

(Good snowboarders are great to watch though. Its just that unfortunately only a tiny percentage of them are actually any good at it !)

FoM has gone, that was expected. Criminal gangs, when people trafficking, would hardly be expected to bother about FoM pre- or post-brexit. Some controlled immigration is needed. Steps are being taken to address the boats, some agree and some disagree with those steps.

As if by magic today, Sir Kier reminds us of one of the reasons why Labour were unelctable and, given Ukraine situation, could have seriously compromised not only UK, but also NATO safety: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68790435

I see a junior minister has resigned from the cabinet. Before all the Rishi haters jump on it let's put it into perspective. It's a junior minister resigning not a major one.

The Tory party is bristling with top talent and the only problem I can see is that Rishi has to decide who to pop into the job.
It's not often I say this but today I must I say Rishi don't be rushing into a replacement get a selection of say half a dozen and look into their backgrounds. If any have been up to no good on X formerly Twitter or Facebook or My Space don't risk them
Take your time and get the right person in

Oops. Blame the painkillers. cloud9

Will now go listen to M2's rendition of 'fairy bells' as penance.

National embarrassment. The Tories seem determined to totally trash the reputation of the UK. Sooner these clowns are ejected the better

Another rat leaving the sinking ship - Tim Loughton standing down at the GE. Be 25% of Tory MPs soon at this rate.

Still be a way to go to exceed the 100 record number from one party...

Indeed. I think Loughton makes it 64 so far.
