Oh shut up. People like you who think 'DaIlY MaIl' is a bloody argument are absurd.

The issue of where you place transgender prisoners ISSN issue whether you like it or not.
It is indeed an issue worth debating. But you're clearly not interested in a debate. You're angry and triggered, which is exactly what the DM seeks to achieve.

Occasionally I just assume this is the route the country, and possibly the western world goes down now.

Accepting that, I'm looking forward to how far this can go. My best years are behind me, bring it on!

I feel bad for my kids as they grow, but hey, maybe they'll love it?

Mad times hehe

Highly leading DM piece triggers NPE posters. Yep, I need my shocked emoji too.
Housing rapists in women's prisons is a good idea then?
That's a much more nuanced debate than can be realistically had here.
That’s just dodging.

I mean, you have literally proven his point.
Nope, just not going to engage with idiots like that.

Also, you are a transphobe as you misgendered the lady, you bigot.

I saw this article about a man raping two women and immediately knew that the transphobes of PH would be all over it. I wasn't disappointed! Well, I am, but for a different reason...

I don’t remember the same kind of outrage and concern about Reynhard Sinaga. It’s almost as if this isn’t about prisoner safety…
That's a fatuous comparison though you're alost making the point against yourself. Sinaga was unable to overcome his victims physically and could only do what he did because he was drugging them when often already compromised by alcohol.

This offender used force on victims who were physically slighter.

Let’s be honest it’s not going to go well for them whichever prison.

I saw this article and knew the PH loon squad would be all over it making excuses for sex offenders hiding behind gender.smile

And it’s really not a good look.

You flung the word 'transphobe', which was ironic, don't you think.

It's a bit like grammar police making a grammatical error.

Not really, although a pinch of arrogance ensures the blinkers stay fixed.

Suppose it helps avoid awkward discussions.

Wait, so you don't think there are transphobes on PH? Is this your first thread with the word 'trans' in the title?

If you feel slighted by my observation that there are transphobes in this thread then you aren't doing a very good job of trying to high ground me, not so long as you are directly calling me a bigot and a transphobe.

Yes it is and in this case he should be in a male prison as he is a Man.

Putting a convicted male rapist in a Women's prison is absurd.

If you consider 'awkward discussions' to include engaging posters in NPE who take DM articles at face value and use terms like 'arrogant' and 'blinkers' without provocation, then yes I'm glad to avoid them.

You genuinely don't get how you calling people transphobes whilst calling this transgender woman a man is ironic, do you?

It's got nothing to do with if transphobes are on the thread, it's to do with your misgendering being funny.

You have no idea why Sinaga chose to use drugs, the strength of those he is housed with, what he might try without access to drugs or the offenders this person is with. The point is they are both dangerous predators and the prison service should have things in place to protect prisoners from each other. This is either transphobic outrage or sexist treatment of women as automatically victims (or both).

At the moment he’s a man. They should call his bluff see how serious he is about becoming a girl. The NHS wastes plenty of money.

I didn't misgender anyone. I shan't expect an apology though.

It is *always* good when a rapist gets convicted, doesn't happen often enough.

Would it be correct to say she will be kept away from other inmates?
