I don't disagree with you. There are a surprising number of morons out there. That being said you wouldn't have thought one would have been appointed Deputy Chair of the Conservative Party.

Why apologise? Its his opinion, and isn't really far of the mark. Khan is a Muslim, so we need to remember everything he does in life is controlled by his faith, and its not a faith. In his mind Islam, Allah and all that is actually real, and comes before anything else.
Anyone who tries to call out anything to do with Islam is roundly, always accused of Islamophobia, its Islam's get out clause.
If you spoke like that about Judaism and Jews, with those tired tropes, you'd be called out for it, and quite rightly.Anyone who tries to call out anything to do with Islam is roundly, always accused of Islamophobia, its Islam's get out clause.
Tropes, Tired... yep, everyone is tired of all this semantics... One man's trope is another man's truth, etc, etc...

Yip. I think very little of the man but I know he represents the views of some. The country would be a better place without extremists who want to tell you how to live your life like Lee.That those views exist and that people hold them should not be ignored. Doesn't mean they're correct, not ignoring can mean tackling and disagreeing. There's always the pig wrestling problem though if you fight on their terms, you both get dirty and the pig likes it.
Oul 30p has his own TV show on a channel full of people with similar opinions. He's not being shut down, he's being amplified far beyond the number of views he represents.

What he said, and if, as you suggested, transposed one belief system for another would make no difference to his contention that it's all just another belief system that acts as Kahn's guiding principle in just about everything he does. And you would want to 'punish' him for that view? Keep going, we will eventually get to a place where everything we think or say will have to be officially mandated. I guess then you will feel justified that you have done your bit in calling out the heretics.
Please could you give me just one example of something Khan has done in his role as Mayor specifically because of his belief system? Countdown said:

That's the bible, not the Quran. Ezekile 25:17It's quite amusing reading people who'd suggest Khan should be banned because they think he's the one into suppressing dissent.
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides
By those perfidious ULEZ cameras
Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will
helps PHers through the Low Traffic Neigbourhoods
For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of rat runs
And I will strike down upon those evil devices
With great vengeance and furious anger
Those who attempt to fine and penalise my PH brothers
And you will know my name is the Mogg
When I lay my chainsaw upon thee"

He probably doesn't. He's playing to the racist halfwit gallery.Paul Scully sparks fresh Conservative racism row with claim of 'no-go areas' in parts of the capital and Birmingham

Anderson, the grandstanding chancer, epitomises the new low that politics has sunk to in the UK.
100% this. He knows he's getting booted out as an MP in the next election so this pop he's had as Sadiq Khan is just to bolster his currency in the eyes of GB News' audience, where he will soon be plying his trade on a more regular basis once he is a former MP.

There is quite a lot about London traffic that is "if God wills" and I mean that in a highly respectful way to the Quran. There are some countries I've no intention of driving a car in. Italy and India are on the list. I've worked in Italy, can speak a bit of Italian, and would not get behind a wheel in some parts of the country. London's not so bad.

Lol. That reminds me of the Top Gear episode talking about the Hindu Code instead of the Highway Code. If god wills it.

Italy is shocking. I drove down from Switzerland and was on the motorway in Italy only to be undertaken by a guy in an A6 with his window down, fag in one hand, coffee in the other, steering with what I assumed were his knees and a newspaper on the wheel. What he's quoted as saying doesn't even make sense. Is it a full moon or something?
However, it's quite amusing reading Jess Phillips response trying to claim her kids hang out there day and night without trouble... yh right. She's as insulated as the rest of them, she should try walking alone through Lozells or Newtown after dark! No go zone is not much of an exaggeration.
