So, just so I understand your position, are you saying that because Steve Bray was right about Brexit, that means he must be right about Gary Lineker's tweet? Or is it possible for him to be right about one thing and wrong about something else?
You don't half pick some fking weird angles of attack, but you'll have to go some way to beat describing the holocaust as a bad decision. I vote you keep trying though.
Unless you can link to where I have said this your next post will contain a retraction and an apology (along with correcting your original post), and I won't take this any further. You don't half pick some fking weird angles of attack, but you'll have to go some way to beat describing the holocaust as a bad decision. I don't think anyone has said he bought homes for refugees have they?
He has housed a couple.
popeyewhite said it on the last page.He has housed a couple.
He seems a bit confused though.
Not paid a huge amount of attention to what he's been up to over the past few years but for the amount of headlines and adulation he receives he's not actually done very much in reality has he?
A total of 6 weeks housing 2 university student refugees from Pakistan and Turkey over a 3 year period, and a handful of critical tweets. For a man of his means, with such strong opinions and a huge audience that seems rather weak sauce?

Thanks for clarifying both, thought I'd missed something.

Yeah, I mean with 5 million quid on the line, you'd really think he'd try harder, right? Not paid a huge amount of attention to what he's been up to over the past few years but for the amount of headlines and adulation he receives he's not actually done very much in reality has he?

I've reported your post for lying as making up what people have posted it is not on, particularly on this subject matter. You deserve and I hope you get a long holiday from PH for your lie, despite being given a chance to apologise and retract it!
If you can't even be bothered reading what you wrote I've taken a picture for you and circled itbhstewie said:

I mentioned the issue of lineker buying houses for migrants a couple of pages back, but can’t find the link to that snippet. That seemed to bring out some handwringing from people who seem to idolise the bloke, reasons best known to themselves. It may be that I mixed up in my mind that lineker offered a room to a couple of migrants a few years ago, not purchased a couple of houses.
Either way his contribution seems to be vocal rather then practical.
I don't idolise him.Either way his contribution seems to be vocal rather then practical.
You do realise you've literally just written that he's housed a couple of migrants and then in the next sentence said that his contribution seems to be vocal rather than practical.
Think about that for a second

For a multi millionaire who is so ‘dedicated’ to the cause of the down trodden migrants it seems to. me to be a minimal contribution on his part. But hey ho if it makes him and others feel morally superior, think about it. for a few moments.
It's hilarious that you and SWoll are now moaning that he hasn't done more.Bottom of the barrel stuff.

Gary will be chuffed to know that he has a few people supporting him in PH.
Meanwhile back the real World our Home Secretary gets on with the work required and promises the Rwanda policy will be up and running by this Summer. We shall see soon enough.
The rancid cow should stay in Rwanda and claim she deported herself. That's the best chance of her idiotic policy showing any success before the Tories are shat out at the next election.Meanwhile back the real World our Home Secretary gets on with the work required and promises the Rwanda policy will be up and running by this Summer. Don’t forget that the Tories were voted in on a mandate from the electorate to ‘take back control’ of our borders. They are simply attempting to enact that promise.

You think it's minimal I think it's likely to be more than most people in a similar position have done. The point wasn't that Lineker is some sort of hero for housing a couple of refugees the point was that they don't seem like the actions of someone who's simply tweeting certain things to try to help with some ongoing bother they have with HMRC.
Appreciate you aren't the one who keeps banging the saucepan for all that conspiracy nonsense though

You are either hopelessly naïve, gullible or blind to what is happening with our immigration system in this country. The government has really done a number on you…

Ah yes, enacting the promises they've clearly failed to enact. frisbee said:
