Or a love of pork pies. People can read whatever they like into a sentence to make it fit their agenda. Of you are able to illicit any hint of sympathy for the individual from my postings on the subject then good luck to you, you'll need it.
It's not a football game, not supporting one side doesn't mean someone therefore has to support the other. That is immensely simplistic and binary thinking of a prejudiced or basic mind.
All that phase should be suggesting is the contempt for string vest idiots who serve unthinkingly as the tabloid mob. Easily whipped up because they can't or don't wish to think matters through.

Reading things like the pitchfork waving paedo hunters suggests a degree of sympathy, as does the comparison with The Sun doing a topless photo shoot with Sam Fox (40 years ago.) I don't know what a teenager craving drugs will do for £30,000 but I suspect it's a bit more than a few shots in his underpants. Then there's the insinuation that it's all homophobic, as though if he had got these photos of a female teenage l drug addict in this way he'd just be seen as a bit of a lad.
Of course there is a homophobic element to it - it's unproveable, but does anyone really think there would have been this much outrage if it was an 18 year old female on OnlyFans?anonymoususer said:
He really wasn't all that good.
His handling of the Queens death was ok.
His handling of the recent elections much less so
I always got the impression he was the also ran who by being in the right place right time was promoted too heavily.
I think that's a minority view. I think most people recognise that H.E. was very good at what he did. And very few people realise just how difficult the job is. His handling of the Queens death was ok.

Bizarrely, joey Barton has gone full in on Philip Schofield today. Although worth pointing out, only Russell brand has any legal investigation going on and the other two has been deemed consensual adults.
Barton might be on the receiving end of Schofields solicitor though.
Joey Barton is an absolute throbber though.Barton might be on the receiving end of Schofields solicitor though.

Cant see Schofield taking Barton to court the last thing he would want is his private life pulled apart and the paper will have a field day.Barton might be on the receiving end of Schofields solicitor though.

Besides, Barton has clearly begun his decent to nothingness so you'd just wait until that 'ending' event occurs and then just help out from the sidelines at no cost to deliver the final blow. bhstewie said:

Not being a follower of roundball, this is the first I've heard of this Barton fellow. "Throbber" seems a rather inadequate adjective to describe him.https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/joey-...

It's one of those names that reaches beyond the sport as it is such an awful creature. My general rule of thumb is that if I have heard of someone from tabloids then that person is probably either a truly great or awful person.ClaphamGT3 said:

I don’t follow football either but I seem to hear of him quite regularly. I find it amazing that he’s been kept in the game all these years - what does that do for its reputation?

Reputation amongst whom though? Clearly these people exist publicly in an industry because the public involved with that industry hold a different general opinion of what is right /wrong etc. I find it amazing that he’s been kept in the game all these years - what does that do for its reputation?
