You need to ask?

This thread is a sub-forum for anyone/everyone who hates Trump. If you don't like Trump's misogynistic comments, or you dislike his egotistical outbursts, but at the same time you are also concerned about weaponisation of the US justice process (as an example) you are part of the problem not the solution.

Before you start any post, you need to make it very clear how much you hate Trump, else it will be assumed you are part of the MAGA movement and therefore the enemy.
Do you think trump is being unjustly prosecuted?
Which cases and why?

I'd like to know how our new legal analyst explains away the stolen documents case.

The business fraud and election interference plot are very much trump business as usual. Issuing oblique, mob boss type commands and getting others to take the fall. I can see because of the complexity and that he might distance himself enough to persuade the credulous that these are politically motivated witch hunts.

In contrast, the stolen documents case seems to be an entirely self inflicted piece of idiocy and hubris which is very well documented. At the bottom of that is his greed and vanity and it will be shown that he's a thief and a traitor. For me, this is the case that might finally get the gullible scratching their heads and wonder why they fell for him.

Doubly so as the whole thing would have been a non event has he just given the documents back when asked. Trying to pin any wrongdoings on him after that would have been like nailing st to the wall, they'd just not have bothered.

100% a self inflicted wound but I'm sure somehow it's all the Dems fault.

Early days in the Scotus hearing on immunity but the questions to trumps attorney don’t seem sympathetic, to me anyway. Live audio on CNN.

Joe biden did it. See all his bike riding and stuff? Training. Tom Cruise, mission impossible style.

Snuck in 30 boxes of materials in like it was nothing. Plants in the secret service letting him know when the coast was clear at Mar a Lago. Framed the janitor to deflect from people knowing he had a spare set of keys, cut when he posed as just another old fart from "the villages" getting a happy hour lunch on "senior saturday"

That also explains the wiped security footage obvs.

Wake up, sheeple!

Justice Ketanji Jackson is literally tearing down every argument trumps lawyer John Sauer is trying to present.
Justice Kagan repeats the hypothetical situation: A president "who ordered the military to stage a coup, he's no longer president, he wasn't impeached, he couldn't be impeached, but ordered the military to stage a coup, and you're saying that's an official act?"

Trump lawyer John Sauer: That "would depend on the circumstances whether it was an official act."

Sauer is trying to claim trumps actions were official acts

First, Kagan asked about the "defendant calling the chairwoman of the Republican National Committee" and asking her "to gather electors in targeted states." (Oh my they have trump making the phone calls)

Then, she said, "The defendant asked the Arizona House speaker to call the Legislature into session to hold a hearing based on their claims of election fraud." (Again more recordings of trump)

On the second point, Sauer said it was "absolutely an official act for the president to communicate with state officials."

In response to questions from Justice Barrett, John Sauer agreed the following were private acts:

• Petitioner turned to a private attorney who was willing to spread knowingly false claims of election fraud to spearhead his challenges to the election results.

• Petitioner conspired with another private attorney who caused the filing in court of a verification signed by Petitioner that contain false allegations to support a challenge.

• Three private actors, two attorneys, including those mentioned above, and political consultants helped implement a plan to submit fraudulent fleets of presidential electors to obstruct the certification proceeding.

Asked by Justice Neil Gorsuch whether a president can pardon himself, Sauer responded, "Perhaps if he feels he has to, he'll pardon himself every every four years from now on."

Kagan: "How about if POTUS orders the military to commit a coup?"

Trump's lawyer says this might be an official act entitled to immunity
Kagan follow up: "That sounds ... pretty bad doesn't it?"

Meanwhile in his new business fraud case, David Pecker has testified that he believed Karen McDougal's accusations that she had an extensive affair with Donald Trump over a year.
He contacted Cohen, Cohen told him to buy the story and kill it.
Pecker asked who would pay, Pecker claimed Cohen told him: "Don't worry. I'm your friend. The Boss will take care of it."

He did it because he believed the story would be damaging to trump and the campaign...

Sotomayor: What is plausible the president creating a fraudulent slate of electoral candidates? Is that plausible that would be within his right to do?

Sauer: Absolutely

Attorney for Jack Smith: There is no immunity that is in the constitution unless this court creates it today.

He really needs to make the point that if they give trump immunity, there's nothing to stop Biden from having them assassinated...

Dont knock it... The victim mentality for some is off the scale. The idea that there is some sort of liberal elite pulling all of the strings is real and Biden is just one part of this vast conspiracy.

The one I heard the other day was that "Wall street is controlled by the left and they have been manipulating the market to hit Trump Media stock with short selling", The way they can just flip from one to the other makes my jaw drop sometimes. So the idea that this is all a setup is real. And yes, I read that someone really believed that the stollen intelligence file were planted during the 'raid'.

Shame that some of the detailed reports around the event reveal something totally different. But hey, you can almost always find a path back to some grifter who is trying to make money somewhere.

trump this morning now claiming "If you don't have immunity, you'll just have a ceremonial president"

Weird how its not been a problem for anyone else who hasn't attempted criminal acts for personal profit
https://twitter.com/i/status/1783477547390378223

Also why is trump meeting with construction workers in New York City? Are these more of trumps faked stooges, because trump saids every business has fled New York because he'd been prosecuted.

Obviously this is after Biden had multiple unions this week declare backing for him.

Good point after Hur made up things, later revealed to be untrue, and did a hatchet job on Biden

"There were many articles after Hur’s report urging Biden to step down. The GOP candidate is a criminal defendant in multiple cases & is sleeping through his trial. Yet there are no Hail Mary columns fantasizing about how Nikki Haley should replace him."

With nooses, guillotines and invasion of government buildings... Totally peaceful.
