Eric trump went onto fox news to complain the trump crime syndicate had been gagged, claimed he can't talk about his trial, then spent ages discussing the case, took time to attack Letitia James and try again the claim that he and his family had nothing to do with statements of financial well being, even though they signed them as true and accurate...

But then also like daddy he makes up stories about people saying they are great, claiming many people on planes tell him

Trump in New Hampshire

That mental decline again, as trump went off teleprompter
trump claimed that Hungarian leader Viktor Orban is now calling on “Barack Obama” to step down as President of the United States, to be replaced by trump

So we've now moved onto 'many world leaders, with tears in their eyes, tell me Sir, you should be President'...

trump claimed it was him that created the Veterans Choice legislation that was signed into law by Barack Obama in 2014.

Ah trump tells - claims he doesn't wear lifts like DeSantis - only he does, thats why he stands so weirdly

Claimed in 2020 the US "had the greatest economy in our history", ignoring the 600,000 dead because of him, the US economy lost 9.4 million jobs in 2020, unemployment rate was at 6.7% at the end of the year and the economy had contracted 3.5%, the worst contraction since World War II.

Looking at the twitter posts it looks like the people behind him are plants - holding signs all the time.
Quite a tight shot as well because the crowd is so small.

I think the ‘tiny crowds’ are very stage managed and even smaller when you remove the paid shills (good luck with getting the money)

Seems to reinforce cgt2s argument.

Which is what I have been saying for a long time. Listen to actual lawyers who understand how it works. Not the bullst hype machine that saturates everywhere and creates a false narrative.

Trump's team is claiming they will bring 120 witnesses but they have used this tactic before. I bet it will be nowhere near that and they will rest their case fairly soon. The more people testify the more incriminating evidence will be uncovered. And no sycophants will risk perjury under oath by lying about the actual numbers and facts. If they call the Deutsche Bank exec Rosemary Vrablic that is guaranteed to blow up in their face.

I bet all those people behind him aren't allowed to take pictures of what's in front of him.

Most of those who are there are most likely only there because trump is all over the news, not because they're remotely interested in what he's saying. This ghoulish interest will wither on the vine once he's been taken out of circulation by the legal process. As cgt2 has been saying, the media will eventually turn its attention to the other dodgy people in the corrupt US political world. God knows they won't be short of choices.

And note how scant information is on exactly how many people are attending. Trump used to brag incessantly about filling stadiums and he was on a weekly basis 8 years ago. The tell is precisely that he never talks about crowd size any more.

From Ann Halina on Facebook.

Here’s your response to anyone attacking President Trump. You can copy and paste this to use. There’s no rational response to these facts:

What are you afraid of? A healthy American economy, no inflation, no wars, Middle East peace, growing 401K, market profits, low gas prices, a secure oil reserve, lower taxes, a strong dollar, respect through strength?
Everything was better under President Trump!
Step away from your 24/7 anti-Trump Propaganda Media! You’re unable to use rational thought at all thanks to your TV. Time to think for yourself!

Who's Ann Halina, and why should I care about her nonsense?

edited to add : Also some irony in telling people to think for themselves by providing bullst to cut'n'paste hehe

They can just vanish. If he pardons himself, then they’ve gone. Yes the matter of whether he is able to pardon himself will rumble on, but the charges are gone until such time as the courts deal with the multiple cases, appeals, appeals and more appeals over the pardon. Only once years have passed and the appeals have been exhausted will the decision over whether to resurrect the charges become valid. That assumes the US is continuing as a functioning democracy and has decided he can’t pardon himself. At that point he’ll be so old, or decrepit, or irrelevant that there will no longer be any appetite to pursue him. There will also be the matter that he’ll be prosecuting and jailing anyone who was involved in any of the indictments he faced, so Willis, Smith et al will probably be unable to lead an appeal against his pardon anyway.

I’m not saying he will be re-elected, but it remains a possibility. The current criminal indictments are not going to make it to court before the election. Any new charges will just result in even more delays to the existing indictments.
With the utmost respect he will never get that far despite what the fearmongers at CNN say to excite people.

The next year will be financial ruin (which we are already seeing), more insane rants, millions more young voters registering and Trump continuing the losing streak of 2017,2018,2020,2021,2022 and 2023. Oh and the small matter of spending the majority of his time in courtrooms. I believe there will be at least one conviction before November.
Your posts cheer me up in the same way as the adverts for the Euromillions Lottery....... biggrin

Tim Scott just suspended his presidential campaign.
Edit: Even his own campaign didn't know before he announced it on TV

And RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel told CNN the committee would support trump as the GOP nominee, even if he were convicted of a crime.

McCarthy also went on CNN blaming everyone else for his demise

When discussing Gaetz and the Ethics probe he said Gaetz would throw his country away to try to protect himself from what would come out as the truth and that if the Ethics Committee never does anything to Gaetz, then Gaetz was successful in stopping probably what rightfully should come to him.

Do anything to protect himself - exactly what he was assisting trump with... oh the hypocrisy.

He also blamed Pelosi for the motion to vacate, something Pelosis office has called a lie.
