So Tim Scott has dropped out of a race he was never actually in.

I remain convinced that Trump will not be the nominee, the question is which clown will inherit the mantle and lose massively.

Looks like it will be Nimrata ''Keep her name out of your voice'' Haley.. and she will be an utter disaster.

It’s a good point, it’s going to be a financial spanking for someone surely? Becoming US president is an expensive undertaking, becoming a losing candidate must smart to the pocket.

And realistically this is the last time Trump could be president.

Despite his Olympic medal winning levels of fitness, Mensa 'super genius' certification and Nobel peace prize he's starting to get on a bit. 2028 would mean he's 82 at the start of his presidency. Although dumb ass doting Biden is going to be 82 at the start of his possible next term so I guess anything is possible.

Disclaimer For the avoidance of doubt I don't believe any of that last block of text to be true. Apart from the ages.

One thing that Trump does tick all the boxes for is the 7 deadly sins:

Lust - Tick
Gluttony - Tick
Greed - Tick
Sloth - Tick
Wrath - Tick
Envy - Tick
Pride - Tick

trumps obviously been demanding his lawyers declare a mistrial as thats what Habba is suggesting they'll try next, because at the moment it's really looking like Judge Engoron will order that trump org is dismantled, pay hundred of millions in fines and having the trumps banned from conducting business in the state of New York - not just Charities this time.

He will be convicted well before November despite the GOP fever dream of a convicted felon escaping everything in a way even Houdini couldn't.

Like the idiots they are the GOP will suddenly realise one day the situation is untenable and scramble to find the 'least worst' alternative. It will be far too late in the day and the quality of their candidates will make it a very entertaining sideshow of ineptitude and incompetence with a hidden racist surprise or two.

Nikki Haley couldn't even repeat the famous Will Smith line without mangling it and yet she thinks she's going to deal with Putin and Xi? Good luck with that.

I can just imagine the GOP pushing Haley as the Trump successor to the redneck GOP base and then they discover her true ethnicity. That's going to be messy.

See my post from yesterday. So they aren't calling 120 witnesses after all? Their legal playbook is so obvious.. (and doomed to fail). Habba should go back to sorting out parking disputes.

Nimarata Nikki Randhawa Haley with mmigrant Indian Sikh parents. Her father, Ajit Singh Randhawa, and her mother, Raj Kaur Randhawa, immigrated to the United States from Amritsar, Punjab, India.

I think a mention has been made of that before. It's always been strange the take on immigrants, considering so many are, or are descended in the US. Melania trump is another biggrin

I guarantee you a large proportion of the GOP base with their thinly disguised racism have absolutely no idea she is Indian. When they see photos of her Dad in his turban they will absolutely fking flip. It will be even more amusing if it happens when Trump is eliminated.

While having lots of money is no guarantee of winning the presidency, it is certainly true that it is, in reality, impossible to win it without money... an absolute st ton of money. The sums involved are actually quite obscene when you think about it.

It's quite easy to see why the orange turd is milking it for all he is worth.

Oh, and the other thing that is absolutely essential is a professed belief in sky pixies and an old book. AFAIK, no openly athesit politician has ever been elected to a high office in the US.

ETA: separation of church and state, my arse.

I see his sister Maryanne has died. This means there’s only 2 of the five trump children left alive now.
And some people think he’s going to live to 200…..

Indeed.. anyone who still believes in the lesser spotted separation of church and state only has to look at the omnishambles in Ohio

Interesting.

UK news source said:
"Secret Service agents protecting President Joe Biden’s granddaughter opened fire after three people tried to break into an unmarked Secret Service vehicle in the nation’s capital, said a law enforcement official.

The agents, assigned to protect Naomi Biden, were out with her in the Georgetown neighborhood late Sunday night when they saw the three people breaking a window of the parked and unoccupied SUV, the official said.

The official could not discuss details of the investigation publicly and spoke to the Associated Press on Monday on the condition of anonymity. One of the agents opened fire, but no one was struck by the gunfire, the Secret Service said in a statement.
Sounds very much like some opportunist morons picked on the wrong car by mistake and also pretty crap marksmanship by the Secret Service agent. Quite possibly nothing to do with Bidens grandaughter.

The corrupt Judge who resigned rather suddenly when facing an ethics investigation.

I guess it’s possible they could all end up working there looking after him, but not very likely I’d have thought.

I'm sure there is a space reserved on the 13th hole at Trump Bedminster golf course with Ivanna.

However, it is worth noting that Maryanne was appointed by democratic President Bill Clinton. Maryanne had also fallen out with her brother after saying his only accomplishments were 5 bankruptcies and that Trump has not principles and can't be trusted.

Her career was ended as a result of her association with Trump and not because she was corrupt. The investigation was never concluded after she stepped down.

We know this how if the investigation was never concluded? What could possibly motivate a judge to resign from a lifetime appointment, $250k a year and other trappings? Could it be she knew exactly how guilty she was, that the investigation would find her guilty of tax evasion and pulled the plug?
