I believe that a Royal Pardon should be given to Mr Sturgeon
I imagine this will not go down well if these SNP types don't like the Royal Family but I still believe one should be given.
It will send a message that we still like the Scottish and want to be their friends. It will say to the nationalists thast "hey you want to leave but we will always love you"
It's a winner

Only after a full and frank public confession as per the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission. To include any and all dodgy acts carried out by anyone else in the SNP which he has any knowledge of. Leave anything out or get caught in a lie and full sentence served. It will never happen.I imagine this will not go down well if these SNP types don't like the Royal Family but I still believe one should be given.

Another hostage to fortune.
"Wellbeing economy secretary Màiri McAllan has condemned the latest in the 'never ending farce' of delays on delivery of Scotland's ferry fiasco vessels - but believes it will be the last. "

Turns out the LNG fuel for the Glen Sannox produces 25% less CO2. Good stuff
Unfortunately...
That 25% is completely wiped out because you have to get it from Qatar and transport it on smelly tankers and trucks
Just like all the other virtue signalling eco pish they come out with its not been properly researched or proved to work.Unfortunately...

Useless wants to introduce 20mph speed limits across Scotland at a cost of £45 million no doubt 'encouraged' by Harvie and Slater.
Meanwhile in Wales, where the same limit has already been introduced, the Welsh Govt is backpedalling, following a 500,000 petition to the Senedd to abolish it, and it looks like around half the roads will revert to 30mph.
Sky rolling script tonight.

As one comment says, "Before he's voted out, he seems to be on a mission to make life as miserable as possible for the people of Scotland."

If the front page of today’s Sunday Mail is anything to go by, you lot will need to replenish your whisky supplies https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/c...

If that's the case then the SNP can take some credit for the resultant increase in Whisky sales. reddiesel said:
I had to smile this morning when I heard of this Independence Rally in Glasgow yesterday . Speaking as a Glasgow Catholic I could have seen more relevance in an Orange Walk .
Seem's someone has tried to run them down with a car, that person can't be a car enthusiast imagine the damage done by all that wind and pish.It wasn't anyone on here...was it..???

A senior SNP politician said:
“This is one of the worst periods of all time for the SNP, there’s no getting away from that. We’re in an incredibly bad place.”
Correct, for once.Surprised at the complete absence of Burger, Strocky, Deadslow et al from the thread these days, (well not really ), have to say though
it would be great to hear from them again, c'mon guys add a bit of debate to the gloaters echo chamber, it's a bit staid without you.

There was a lot of very desperate people over on R/Scotland yesterday, fervently hoping it was a unionist thing.
Harvie must stay!!! My liver couldn't take it if he flounced off so soon after Mr Sturgeon being charged.

All hail Big bird. https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/24267894.bute-...
While I'm not in the least bit in favour of the current SNP/Green clown show, one thing I can agree with Harvie on is his position on the Bute House agreement. Greens have two options. 1) make a noise, get in a huff, exit the agreement and step out of government, or 2) make a noise, get in a huff but swallow their pride and accept that they are a minority partner, can't have it all their own way and play the long game.
It's all too familiar to the Conservative / Lib Dem coalition. The Lib Dems picked option 1, flounced on the principles, their voters abandoned them and they evaporated into irrelevant white noise. Greens in Scotland are a real risk of doing the same. That might be a good thing, but Harvie is right that option 2 is the only way they have any hope of having any actual influence, but they do have to accept they aren't in charge. I can't see them seeing that logic though.
Having said that, if they chose option 1, flounced and evaporated... I wouldn't miss them.
