Alba are delusional. It was funny to listen to Salmond big up Regan yesterday as if she was some sage colossus when in reality she is very mediocre, and some might say bat st crazy.

Douglas Ross’s motion was the smart thing to do because I can’t see the turkeys voting for christmas under the Labour motion.

That reads like it was written by AI. Of course, if there is an election she would lose her seat which is the real reason for the statement.

Pretty much my point above, but I think the endgame here is Humza losing his leadership and the SNP carrying on for two years with someone who isn't a fk'ng numbnut who has burnt their bridges with everyone at the helm.
If Humza is ousted who takes the job? Not the most attractive prospect taking charge of a party with two electoral trouncings coming. No majority. No spare cash in the budget. No chance of indy.

You need an SNP patsy who is willing to be thrown under several buses, get up again dust themselves off and be willing to be to then be flamed over whatever else comes out before losing 2 elections.
Theres only 1 man for that job.

Labour motion up to 23 votes
They need 25 votes
22 labour and 1 conservative

More Conservatives considering it. It might be passed by this evening.

Useless on Sky News being interviewed live. "I'm going to fight this motion blah blah blah." "I'm here in Dundee getting on with the job and announcing an £18 million investment in affordable housing."

The interviewer pointed out he slashed the housing budget a few months ago so no option but to talk bks.

Sir Ed Davey said, "The situation with Humza Yousaf is a total mess.'

If they don't vote for it they are traitors to Scotland...they might as well jump over and join the SNP, I'd much prefer the Conservatives VONC but I'll take the best shot at ousting the lot of them.

How is the Conservative vote going, anyone know.

Humza's Achilles Heel and we all talked about it in here a year ago when he was elected.

He does not possess a single conciliatory bone in his body.

TBF I can't see the Labour vote being passed. Ash Regan knows she will lose her seat at an election. Votinhg Useless down - yes. Voting herself out of an extra 2 years salary and expenses - no.

After all, why were Harvie and Big Bird so angry? They will have a mental household budget of £££££X for the next two years which has just been snatched away. Likewise - they will vote Useless out. They won't vote themselves out a job.

Peewee will no doubt use it as an excuse in his mind to delay even further fitting that ever-so-expensive heat pump.

Ash Regan's letter to Dumza...this is just mental, she is deluded if she thinks in the middle of everything that's going on that they can press for another independence referendum...billions to one chance of it happening.

Personally I think she’s more deluded if she thinks the SNP can provide competent government for people and businesses across Scotland.
Just a reminder to anyone who wasn't paying attention; she is a fully paid up member of the blue woad contingent and was all for unilateral declarations of independence.

Those who are in desperate need to hang onto power and ego are going to do what they need to, rather than what they should.

I couldnt do politics, it takes a level of ability to be self serving to ignore the fact your own party and population have nothing but disdain for you.

I find the fact that Useless doesn't realise he's finished quite amazing; the amount of ego and self delusion on display is breathtaking. He's showing himself to be even worse than most of his detractors portrayed him.

Anyone with half a brain can see he's finished. Even if he clings on to power in some way shape of form, he's a busted flush and only delaying the inevitable. The fact that he can't/won't face up to that reality is a joy to watch...I hope he stays in post as FM for as long a possible.

England "Our politicians are so bad it's laughable". Scotland "Hold my beer...".

Has the question of whether both VONC will voted on been answered yet?
The Tories seem to have played a blinder here, not so sure about Labour.
