Bit rich of him accusing the opposition of opposing for the sake of it.

Absolutely full of it.

Heck he's deluded.
Any idea how he came to be in charge?
Because he was the best the SNP had, god help us all.

I'm not too sure what all those letters over the weekend were about in that case hehe

Because anyone with gumption could see the job after Sturgeon was a hiding to nothing.

Yousaf: "I underestimated the level of hurt caused by the Bute House decision".

I think we can safely say that the amount of Bute-hurt he's feeling now brought tears to his eyes.

Pedro Sanchez actually has the backing of the people.
Humza doesnt even have the backing of his party.
As a Scot living in Spain, I hoped they’d both go today! Hopefully the beginning of better times for Scotland.

Deluded. That is exactly what he was trying to do and his opposition got in in writing. Humza's cognitive failures define him, from beginning to end.

Just popped in to gloat, er, share the sentiment.
I'm sat on a beach on the other side of the planet, with a beer, watching the sunset, and Humza has managed to make that all the more beautiful.
Thanks Yousaf.

Goodbye Humza Useless.

Which grifter is next for the toxic position of First Minister Who Really Isn't Needed and is a Glorified Councilor of The Future Republik of Scotlandshire?

He'll be remembered mainly for that speech
Politicians need to understand...woke gender ideology and race baiting is only a thing on-line, where a few blue haired freaks shout about this nonsense ad nauseum. In the real world, it simply doesn't hold any credence. At least he didn’t get up to any embezzlement while in office (that we know of) I suppose.
I doubt his replacement will be any better...its a Socialist party after all...but good riddance all the same.

You do wonder how different things would have been if Forbes had won instead of Yousaf. Stable, restrained, minority government? Glen Rosa would probably still not have been scrapped and public services would probably still be the same mess though.

Presumably the Tory one will be withdrawn as it’s already achieved its aim. The Labour one will still stand.

Even if the Tory one had been carried he wouldn’t have been obliged to resign, so the current situation where he’s announced a leadership contest and that he’ll go is basically what the Tory vote would have achieved at best.

He obviously had no confidence in them
