Suprisingly his white supremacist neo nazi views.
Who would of thought from sa progressive green.
Not quite, his accusations that others held such views.
Thanks for the clarification.
I did think it was an odd thing to fall on given his stance generally

Ah, you guys clap . I'm not really online as much these days. People think this term is an extended holiday for teachers, study leave etc, but it's a term where we can catch up on EVERYTHING we haven't done because, we'll, teaching, y'know. I've only really posted on the health section, more as a training diary than anything, and sporadically elsewhere...but...I couldn't resist looking in when I saw the unfolding car crash of the useful idiot's downfall...or perhaps useless idiot is more fitting? It's like Amazon had lost a big delivery of Karma and finally found it, redirected it and delivered it all at once. I can still hear the door knock, the querulous voice 'Mr Humza? Ah, good, we've been trying to track you down', then the noise of a reversing warning beep as the big lorry inches up to his doorstep and the man in an Amazon delivery livered hoodie says 'sign here' as a trailer full of delicious karma tumbles out of the trailer, burying Humza both literally and metaphorically up to his neck.

Hubris you say?

Looking like they'll survive as Peewee and Big Bird have miraculously recovered from their fit of pique (or rather Ross Grier has told them that he doesn't fancy looking for a job and would like to ride the MSP gravy train for at least another two years).

The question that has been rightly asked is what exactly is the point of Shona Robison collecting a ministerial salary for being Deputy First Minister if the SNP doesn't actually trust her to deputise.

Bearing in mind Mad-Eyes Shona has been Sturgeon's bestie since Uni days this makes 'toary corruption' and nepotism look tame.

Salmond's govt had 14 minister's. It's now up to 30. So the majority of SNP MSPs get a ministerial salary on top of their MSP one. Snouts in the trough. No way does a devolved govt need that many ministers.

As the gold command in Covid showed the decisions are pretty much taken by 4 or 5 people around the FM anyway.

so all these witterings about votes of no confidence , basically the greens are going to stay voting with the SNP now - despite the axe of the green policies and the gender policy etc etc etc , and the only reason they had a spat was because Humza didnt break up "nicely" ---- ***holes !

Their snouts have been hauled unceremoniously out of the ministerial trough. The last thing they want is to have them hauled from the parliamentary trough.
Clearly committed democrats dedicated to ensuring good governance for Scotland. Hopefully they all end up on the dole after 2026, but I suspect, for reasons given a couple of days ago, that Slater at least is safe.

Found this while looking for the results of the no confidence vote: https://www.parliament.scot/chamber-and-committees...

It looks like Douglas Ross wanted the Lord Advocate to make a statement to the house on the Post Office situation. The vote took place yesterday. The motion was pretty much unanimously backed by the Tories, Labour, the Lib Dems and Alba, but again largely unanimously voted against by the SNP and Greens. Why’s an opposition party so keen to vote with the government on not informing the house about a matter that’s clearly a current concern?

How about swinney in charge and Kate for the chief beancounter?

On condition that every crackpot scheme the greens come up with has to have a fully costed, with everything included, plan of action. That way she can throw out the nutters ideas on cost grounds.

Looks like we are still going to have the greens wagging the tail of the dog to keep their noses firmly in the trough.

What have we done to deserve this bunch of incompetents?

fking Green's...blew it for everyone, after getting the chop they went crawling back to keep grifting for another two years.

I have now shifted my deep hate from the SNP to Patrick Harvey...what a sniveling little creep of a man.

Their plan will be to cosy up to the new FM pleading to return to government posts...they make me want to vomit

No surprises with the vote today. It would be like a turkey voting for Christmas.
My guess is that Swinney will take over, retire in 2026 or before, Forbes will be offered a position in a mini-reshuffle - and the Greens will be ignored.
There might be another VONC in a year or so when they realise they can't pass any legislation - which might not be a bad thing.
Hopefully they will concentrate less on the progressive policies and more on delivering the things that the majority of people care about.
TBH I think that devolution has run into the sand.
