He'll be remembered mainly for that speech
Politicians need to understand...woke gender ideology and race baiting is only a thing on-line, where a few blue haired freaks shout about this nonsense ad nauseum. In the real world, it simply doesn't hold any credence. At least he didn’t get up to any embezzlement while in office (that we know of) I suppose.
I doubt his replacement will be any better...its a Socialist party after all...but good riddance all the same.

Because anyone with gumption could see the job after Sturgeon was a hiding to nothing.
You do wonder how different things would have been if Forbes had won instead of Yousaf. Stable, restrained, minority government? Glen Rosa would probably still not have been scrapped and public services would probably still be the same mess though.rider73 said:
so i'm confused - if hes staying on until a replacement is appointed - what happens to the 2 no conf. votes?
Presumably the Tory one will be withdrawn as it’s already achieved its aim. The Labour one will still stand.Even if the Tory one had been carried he wouldn’t have been obliged to resign, so the current situation where he’s announced a leadership contest and that he’ll go is basically what the Tory vote would have achieved at best.
