Currently saying ‘no casualties reported’ but seven in the water… will be incredible if no-one came to grief in that; fingers crossed.

st! Thankfully at 1.30am, it'll be a miracle if anyone from the bridge survives that.

There were cars and trucks that just crossed seconds before on that live feed yikes

The ship appears to lose all it's lighting about 5 minutes before impact, just becomes a dark mass. The lights come on again but too late.

Complete loss of power perhaps?

Could be any number of things, but blackout and resulting temporary loss of steering possible. Wind was light north-easterly at the time, which would push the vessel towards the south pile.

Also looked like a lot of flashing lights on the bridge suggesting maintenance work going on, that’s a lot of people working at the time.

Full vid - looks like the ship was losing power repeatedly and drifting

That water will be pretty cold this time of year I'd imagine if anyone has been lucky enough to survive the fall. Mail is reporting there were 20 construction workers on the bridge also.
