True money can't buy you everything but this pair are giving it a damn good try! The "man boy pimp" wouldn't last 5 mins in the real world without "mummy" catering to every whim.
Sadly its her money (well maybe, sounds like the hubby might be some sort of Tony Soprano type) and she can pish it away on whatever she likes. If they were benefit scamming scumbags, then yes, we should all get pissed off and make some calls to the HMRC and welfare office.
As it is, I've met people who've had far more spent on them by bank of mum n dad and are more appreciative of it and achieved more than sub standard grades and a passing interest in a techie college course.

Not being funny, but this kid is hardly spoilt. Perhaps the DM should run a story on some "proper" wealthy kids.....but their families usually have the class to keep out of the spotlight.

As far as I can tell, the story is about a family with very little class flaunting what little they have. I have never seen the Uk version, and only managed about 5 mins of the American version of super sweet 16 without punching the telly, but I know exactly how it will go - just like pimp my ride UK - much smaller budget than the US show and much less over the top - just makes us look like country bumpkins with no class who have won £100,000 on the pools - at least the yanks do classlessness properly...
The guy will be fooked when it all goes tits up and he has to live in the real world - will think working for a living is below him, offend the wrong guy and end up munching on a 5-knuckle sandwich.
