Very sad news.
frown

Just exactly WTF is this doing in News, Politics & Economics? If Captain Chaos had been running the economy we wouldn't be in the mess we are now!

"Ooooh, J.J. We've got a flat. And, those priests..."
"...weren't fathers. They were..."
"...mothers."

Only just seen this, very sad. Cannonball is the reason I love the Countach and is one of the reasons I've always been a petrolhead

What's happened to him then lol
Reason I've only just seen it on here was I was doing a search on cannonball run as one of my friends has never seen it and we can only assume that that's why he hasn't learnt to drive yet, I mean anyone who's seen this film with an ounce of testosterone in their body should later go on to be a proper petrolhead!
Don't worry though, we're making him watch it, just a nightmare to get hold of a region 2 version in DVD. Still have it on VHS but it's painfull to watch a VHS now after Blue Ray....

I suppose he hadn't really done anything for quite a while so that's probably why it didn't get much coverage, still a legend though.

Yeah, in the UK newspapers, on the US news, all over the internet, and especially all over car forums across the world. But other than that, absolutely no mention of his sad passing anywhere.

BTW, Farrah Fawcett has gone too.

OK, I think we have established I hadn't heard untill today...
Sometimes you can just miss stuff completely I don't think I was even on here when he died and it would have only been a 30 second bit of news on the BBC, as he other guy said he only found out by chance on here.

From now on you'll probably cop a resentment every time the film is mentioned.

PH can be cruel.
