I find this hero worship a touch disturbing....

Surely, any professional dancer can do what he did, and millions of castrated blokes can sing in like fashion...?

I would disagree. Is it supposed to be a sentence...?

Not singling you out, old boy, the phenomenon is rife...

Creative talent...? Not life and death, is it?

Anyone watching the memorial service on BBC News 24?

It's actually quite sad to realise that you'll never see his talent live again. Still, I guess from the press reports he was probably well past performing to anywhere near his best.

My colleague has it on and fk me, they don't half talk st sometimes.... You'd think that he was Nelson Mandella, Mother Theresa, Diana and Ghandi rolled into one.

Yes he was a great performer but IMO that is all.

Remember Gordon Jackson? You know, Cowley out of the Professionals.

I think it was his brother.

I thought it was his illegitimate offspring stolen at birth and raised by Indians?

No one can dance EXACTLY like Jacko could, nor has anyone got a voice like his - let alone a combination of all of the talent he had.

I was a Jacko fan before but listening to more of his stuff recently he really was a music legend.

Having seen more normal photos and videos released of him going about his normal life does make to realise he was just a normal person and not soem crazy superstar living a crazy life.

Have you seen the rehersal video? he still looks like he coudl move. the full rehersals will hopefulyl be out soon (on dvd no diubt) - AEG guys said he was in form and the sneak peak didn;t disappoint so i expect the full DVD to show him pulling off all the moves (as far as you can expect at a practice)

lol, what i meant was in his own private life he didn't cover his kids up weirdly etc, they were just a normal family when away from the public eye
