Having seen more normal photos and videos released of him going about his normal life does make to realise he was just a normal person and not soem crazy superstar living a crazy life.
What fking planet do you live on????
lol, what i meant was in his own private life he didn't cover his kids up weirdly etc, they were just a normal family when away from the public eye
What, like a normal family who lives in Alton Towers? hehe

I must admit watching the memorial show has really changed my opinion of the guy.I have always thought he was talented and like his song gone too soon just like another of my fave rnb artists Luther Vandross.

cause it's cool to hate MJ now as he was a nasty child molester as some people on here have judged him to be. Quite what evidence and proof these Internet lawyers have is anyones guess.

The memorial tonight showed how his mind worked through the tales of his friends (Brooke shields) and how he To them was a great friend and always having fun with them. Yes he was a big kid but you know so are we all in our own ways. Seems we forget too soon his monumental charitable donations. We forget too soon how talented this guy was and how popular he actually was, despite all the negativity towards him. Real shame is that we will never know if his tour was going to be awesome and fresh or it would have been a huge flop frown I would like to think it was going to be a new springboard for him to get hack in the public eye for the right reasons.

Anyone watching the memorial service on BBC News 24?

It's actually quite sad to realise that you'll never see his talent live again. Still, I guess from the press reports he was probably well past performing to anywhere near his best.
Have you seen the rehersal video? he still looks like he coudl move. the full rehersals will hopefulyl be out soon (on dvd no diubt) - AEG guys said he was in form and the sneak peak didn;t disappoint so i expect the full DVD to show him pulling off all the moves (as far as you can expect at a practice)
Most of his moves hadnt changed in the past 20 years anyway. He was so in form he took an overdose to get out of having to actually perform!

When I saw the Jackson brothers pushing the coffin I thought of the film CoolRunnings
OK, that was funny....sick & twisted, but funny nonetheless.

Remember Gordon Jackson? You know, Cowley out of the Professionals.

I think it was his brother.
No, you idiot, that was Peter Jackson, the film director. Michael was the coloured lad that used to go out with our Edith.

Yep, but didn't he end up marrying Glenda Jackson?

No you are thinking of George Jackson who was sent to prison for a crime he didn't commit, you may recall the "Free George Jackson" campaign in the early 80's

I still reckon Maria Gambrelli is guilty...

Roll up Roll up, Nows your chance to get back in the limelight by saying nice things about a dead guy and get on mainstream TV doing it.....

Brooke Sheilds??? Shes hardly done anything recently and IIRC she's a bit of an odd'un as well...

Like anyones going to remark on his sexuality or accusations at that gig......

So he gave to charidee.... Woop de bloody do. Some give and make no big deal out of it. They're the real "stars". The amount of money he earned ( and p1ssed away) donations would have been the equivalent of small change on his pocket. Rich performers see it as a way to show they're "still in touch with reality", whilst in the real world wouldn't stop for someone they just ran over.Judging by the way reports say his finances were, I guess it wouldn't have been long before he was "cap in hand"

Why is it a shame he didn't perform? There quite a few reports that he was no where near fit enough to do the shows, and that he only wanted to do 10 not 50. That's shows a guy that knows he's wasn't up to it. Better for those millions of fans to remember him as the clean cut guy singing Billie Jean rather than a struggling, ill and broke middle aged man trying desperately to earn enough money on one final tour to hold onto the extravagant lifestyle he lived.

As for the Internet lawyers, sure some of us are fed up with most radio stations constant repetitive playing of his 10,20 or 30 year old songs like some sad MJ fanboys iPod stuck on shuffle.
I listened to Thriller when it came out, didn't buy it. In life there are people you like, dislike, hate, love, admire even idolise. I for one didn't hate the guy, I never new him. But his weirdness and the strange affect his warbling had on some, I find, more than slightly disturbing.
As for the child molester accusations - You ever been accused for it? I havent. Nor have any people I know. Yet this guy gets accused by a couple of kids (how many others maybe?)....Then and for no real reason, hands out the equivalent of a winning lottery ticket to them

When he died it seemed for some the world stopped turning. Not me, when I saw it on the news I just flicked the TV over onto teletubbies for the little 'un and carried on as normal....
