I've found a novel viewpoint. Trouble is, I will have to stand in the middle of a relatively busy rat run to get the best angle. I'll try to get a few shots during this week.

Wish me luck!

Remember, if it takes many-many attempts then thats just the demands of the art.

I'd suggest lying down whilst wearing dark, almost tarmac-like colours to counter the glare.

it really is behind the Tate Modern stack.

I wanted a little showing but it was small enough to fit behind.

This is one of the man reasons why I enjoy PH so much. We've never met, you and I. But, your kindness, concern and thoughtfulness shines through your post.

Pistonheads; camaraderie and respect matters..

The Shard should have bright white LED lighting, and have auto opening blinds at night, so it lights up nice and bright.

Or, external lighting upwards.. It'll be a shame to be partly lit etc.

I haven't yet managed to get my latest Shard oeuvre together. However, Mrs Blib sent me a lovely photo of the Thames taken this morning on her walk to work along the South Bank.

Quickly, I prevailed upon her to send me a couple of the Shard for your edification. This she has done.

I love Mrs Blib unreservedly.
