I agree, but also think David Mitchell put it best on HIGNFY:

"They seem to be saying 'There's piss in this swimming pool, therefore swimming pools are bad' rather than 'we've been pissing in the swimming pool'"

Stop bleating about making changes to expenses. Loads of people have expenses and make it work. The thing everyone was so mad about was you knowingly using expenses for personal gain, with the public picking up the bill.

Adverts for BBC programmes being peddled as "news" items really winds me up. They should have to put a disclaimer before these so called "stories" or perhaps mention "other pointless phone in shows are available"
