I can't help feeling that had Chicago won, you would be on here posting that America won despite that incompetent fool Obama. As you lost it is because of that incompetent fool Obama.

To be honest you are getting a little repetitive in your attempts to 'educate' the PH massive to your opinion. We didn't vote for him, so give it an occassional rest please.
If you are directing that to me, either quote me or use my name; that would be a start.

If "giving it a rest" is going to be a theme, perhaps the never-ending stereotypes I constantly have to counter could qualify as well. My opinion of him is what it is, just as you all never let us forget how you felt about Bush....in every thread, whether he was the topic or not. ETA: I have gotten along here fine for years; thinking you are aware of "PH history" after 3 months is a bit rich. wink

I believe the only olympics we made money on was the one Mitt Romney was brought in to save; and he did.
Which one was that.
2002 Winter Olympic, Salt Lake City. Read thie Wiki; skip down to the "2002 Olympics" section. Was $379M short and ended up $100M in the black:

Yes, I speak with him twice a day. I know him almost as well as all of you knew Bush.

You are the OP and it is clear I mean you.

The stereoypes are a two-way street. I have better things to do than try to educate American fora on the truth about Britain, perhaps you should take the same approach. As for your other incorrect and sweeping generalisation, I supported a lot of Bush juniors policies and his dads when I lived in California.

Oh and dump the 'you're a noob so I count more' crap. You tried it when I first joined and it didn't wash and it doesn't now. smile

I don't know Bush and nor do I talk about him.

You obviously don't like Obama -- that's your perogative - but don't pretend to know him!

Otherwise you're in danger of becoming as obsessive as Turbobloke when he starts banging on about "nulabians" etc

It is common knowledge that Obama's insiders are arrogant; they have well known histories in their repective district jobs. It could all be wrong, but I doubt it. Nulabians....is that not their name? hehe

Lets face it chaps, Obama has the potential to make as big a balls up of the colonies as his obvious influence bLiar did of the UK. Jimbaeux's hunch may just turn out to be right after all smile

A quick look on good ole wikipedia shows that South America hasnt hosted the olympic games once, a nice chance to spread the joy of massive cost overuns and dissused sports facilities to another continent hehe

It's very weak way to try and put down someone who disagrees with you, something I suspect from many of your posts, you are better than.

I know. There are plenty of threads if you care to look where I have supported and defended him. Including the first thread where we clashed and he said my points were irrelevant because I had just joined. If you want to argue, argue, but don't try the old 'I'm an old stager so you are automatically wrong' crap. smile

But it's true, anyone who's been here long enough is right, whether they're wrong or not.
That's why this is PH, not a debating chambers. wink

Yeah because you could never accuse any republicans of arrogance. Not Cheney or Rumsfeld or Rove or "the decider" or........

It's a given that top politicians and political operators do not suffer from a lack of self confidence. What makes you say that Obamas people are any better or worse than any others? Or are you just doing what you usually do and parroting what you heard Rush Limbaugh say.? rolleyes
