I don't quite understand why you posted a random picture of Red Ken though.

I found his expression of displeasure exceedingly satisfying.

I was going to append the caption Huh, but I thought such clarification unnecessary in present intelligent company.

Although referring to Nick Clegg as the rabid rabbit from Monty Python & The Holy Grail was better biggrin
That was about Vince Cable, not Clegg.
I heard some of Boris's speech on the Radio - it sounded pretty good. But did he say something mean about Vince Cable? I like Vince Cable. Of all the people to pick on, I'm surprised Boris would go for him.

Problem is with old Vince is that he has been sanctified And Can Do No Wrong. A more detailed look at his opinions on the economy demonstrate that he has not been consistent at all. Basically he looked good only due to the incredible amount of ste he was being compared to.

Spot on ! I cannot fathom why Vince Cable is so deified. If you look at what he has said, his thinking seems fine at first and then he says things that are completely irrelevant and pretty stupid...

But then, he is a LidDem so I guess that is to be expected.

LibDems are just socialists in disguise it seems to me.

Very good performance by Boris at the conference.

Seems to be comfortable sparring with Paxman as well.

Forget Boris becoming PM, how about him becoming President of the EU? That would wipe the smile off the face of the smug one.

Boris on Newsnight was excellent :-

Paxoman :- Why did CMD become a PR man ?

Boris :- Why did you become a journalist, why does anyone choose what they do ??

Brilliant

Peel away te 'bumbling' persona and the self evident truth is taht Boris is probably the most intellectual politician in the country.

A slightly more serious outlook would see him in number 10.

His line on Chateau Neuf du Pape as brilliant.
