It wouldn't surprise me if this is the last major he ever wins.

With his determination, dedication and resolve, it really wouldn't surprise me if he nabs another.

If he's so desperate for a green jacket, why not just buy one?

They can't be THAT expensive.

I've no doubt they cost a small fortune but those Green Jackets look terrible. They resemble a 20-quid polyester school kids blazer from a supermarket.

I am a keen golfer, and you are so right. Great golfer and I enjoy watching someone with his skill level playing, but that's it. It's only golf, he's not the messiah and all the Media tosh we are going to have to endure for the next 6 months will probabaly be unbearable. I shall be avoiding at all costs.
I’m not a golfer. I’ve played perhaps 5 times in 10 years. I get the lure of the game and gave friends who are mad about it.

Strangely I like watching Golf and I think Woods was just epic. Unbelievable super human effort. Very happy for him.

Some bloke with a bag of sticks whacking a little ball up and down a field trying to keep it out of sandpits and fishponds and eventually getting it to drop down a rabbit hole.

Riiiight.

Media darling. Much like Liverpool FC. Let's hope they don't win the league.

That mugshot made me feel the same way.

Gazza with a bit more cash. It will end badly unless there are people around him who care. He needs to start by accepting his golf days are done.
This comment (bold part) has aged well. It's a good job Tiger doesn't read Pistonheads!

Very little interest in golf personally, but it is good news.
While it's just a game at the end of the day, the media are very quick to jump onto the problems/ downfall of celebrities, so it's great to see someone get back on form.

Don't think there is a need for comparison but for me Lauda is an incredibly brave man just to get behind a wheel again let alone drive at the speed he did.
Woods has shown a different type of bravery and he could have so easily vanished into the background with his wealth but he took all the media threw at him and accepted but to win a major after such a long time is very impressive for different reasons.
