I do live in west yorkshire by the way but can tell you that dewsbury, batley, bradford, halifax etc are all stholes and are mainly full of unemployed scroungers, dole dossers, people that live on council estates and don't work and people that work for 'cash in hand'. The amount of tracksuit bottoms in towncentres and smelly people gets me down frown
Oi, i live in Dewsbury and not everyone is as you desribed, yes a couple are like that but not a huge amount

Just wondering as obviously the dithering buffoon is dragging this out as long as he can to wait for the polling gap to narrow.

But at what point must he set a time for election? Can he 'go to the Queen' a day before or must there be a gap between that and actually having a ballot?
So realistically what day/month will he have to concede?

I'm wondering what sort of revelations will result in a quick leadership kerfuffle in Labour. Since CMD has shown a complete lack of will, maybe, with the right man at the helm, they could swing it.

I call Milliband...... It's got to happen. I'm totally convinced.... biggrin

People loathe Miliband with a venom usually only reserved for car rental companies.

and Ed Balls is a .

I reckon Labour will lose. And Harman will get the job unless she loses her seat. And what's funny is that she doesn't realise that will doom the Labour party at the following election...

I think Milliband comes across as sincere, almost like an authentic version of Blairmeron. Remember, most people who have a vote are easily swayed. CMD and Brown won't be convincing anyone. Milliband might. Despite his slime, he has some positive attributes as a figurehead (not leader).

A little lacking in charisma and looks perhaps. Resembling an unholy coupling between the Black Adder and Kryten with the people skills of a Dalek, I'd say he has a way to go......hopefully

I met Miliband recently, and I have to say he is utterly unimpressive. Seemed to have little clue about anything, no conversation, a couple of his questions and comments appeared to demonstrate a real lack of intelligence. Maybe he was having a bad day, maybe he's just st, but I must say I'm just as scared of the thought of him at the helm as I am of another term of Winky.

The Labour Party are nothing but inept, misguided socialists with a severe evil streak directed at anyone who doesn't agree with 'their' way. It really doesn't matter all that much who is supposedly 'in charge'.

The only thing I have ever heard him say of relevance was that he has little knowledge of anything other than that of being a politician, and as such his skills lie in convincing people.

Doesn't matter what or why, just convince them. Now couple this with his totally unconvincing "the science is over" routine and his parties habit of disregarding info it doesn't like or agree with (Prof David Nutt for eg) and you have a recipe for disaster.

What?

Are we talking about the same tt who signed away our consitutional rights, breaking a promise make to every citizen of the UK whilst laughing his tits off about the whole thing?

fk me mate, you usually come out with some decent stuff on here, but I'm frankly amazed at what you have just written. Sincere? Sin-fkin-cere? Milliband makes every used car salesman, estate agent, solicitor, double glazing salesman and poker player I have ever had the disspleasure to meet, look like Mother Terrasa!

fking sincere banghead
I think so too, a lot of the population don't see it this way though. In 97, I spent a while in various factory canteens and overheard the responses to the TV.

Posh is bad and ugly is bad. Politics, substance and most other meaningful things are irrelevant.

It's more of a case of big brother to a lot of people.

My personal thoughts regarding these sorts of people is that they are not intelligent or informed enough to deserve a vote.... but then again, I'd also have public sector workers allocated 1/2 a vote, doleys 1/4.

People who pay into the higher tax bracket could perhaps have 2 votes.

All he has to do is tell anyone on benefits that they won't get them on time the week of the election unless they vote. Job done, another 4 years. Just target the poor and it will be a landslide, after all Labour are the poor mans party aren't they and were all poor.

Which Milliband though?

You just know it will be awkward at family functions.

"I'm Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs"

"Well, I'm Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change"

"You do realise they only made up climate change to give you a job?"

I think there must be a third Milliband, because "the Brothers" are a couple of halfwit school boys. Frankly, to think that our Foreign Secretary represents our country is embarrassing.
