So no charge for Hazel "What capital gains tax?" Blears then? So you can pretty much defraud the taxpayer through tax evasion and get away with it.

That's because Champagne Socialists are 3 times more corruptable.
hehe

I haven't got much time for any Labour MP but Eliot Morely i have an particular hatred for...i would never tire of punching him, he's up there with Broon.

My money is on fines/suspended sentences all round? I bet if you or i committed the same crimes we would get a harsher sentence than these parasites will get.

And it would seem that Tony "Oops I've accidentally shredded my expense claims" Bliar is beyond any suspicion.

I wonder what the Revenue would do to me if I lost all my company accounts/tax/expenses documentation in a bizarre shredding incident?

Which was the one with the false mortgage, surely that's just blatant fraud?

Blears should be charged too, if only for possession of red hair and an annoying face.

Falsely claiming for mortgage interest that doesn't exist is clearly dishonest, whereas claiming for a duck house that was within the rules (or signed off) is just taking the p1ss!
What makes me smile about this claim is that it gets the most publicity but it was actually one of the few things rejected by the fees office.
[tin foil hat mode]
This has been perpetuated to balance out the amount of Labour MP's with their snout in the trough and is also used as a smoke screen to cover up the real crime of house flipping, again mainly by labour MP's who haven't worked out that unlike union subs the tax payers money isn't theirs to spend freely.

If they don't get convicted I suspect there will be rioting in the streets.

Four thrown to the wolves just to see if that will make the press and public drop it.

I heard on the news at lunchtime that "robustly defending" themselves by nothing more than "parliamentary privilege", i.e. I'm an MP, you can't touch me.

Nothing has changed...

Suspect that will happen sooner rather than later anyway.

Here's hoping the jury (which I would expect to be taxpayers) will see sense and convict the thieving bds furiousfuriousfurious

If they don't me thinks the Government might have slipped a few £££ in their pack pockets or have offered them a *cough* reduced tax rate...

On QT a few months ago there was a Plaid Cymru MP, and he was on the committee that has been looking into this.
He stated quite clearly that there would be prosecutions, and I think he may have said four, though he could not state the names at the time obviously. It is good to see that he was correct.

I know it's awful and very unsporting but someone else really needs to stop moaning and actually start shooting these s.

Then we would see who had pulled their socks up and stopped taking the piss.

As it is, they are above the law and are also trying to be above criticism.

Yes that was unbelievably embarrassing.

If that's what Krishnan can do then the QC who interrogates him in court will have a rather easy time.

Strangely, they have been charged with offences contrary to the theft act. I am very surprised there have been no fraud charges.

More pantomime that costs lots more money, a load of jibber jabber and empty comments and that lot trying to carry on picking the carcass as much as possible. This is purely a theatre of those narcissistically simpering to the public, via the big trumpet with the added sound deadening of those who really can't give a fk.

Today's comments from the 3 Labour politicians and their wanting to use some ancient "parliment trumps all" act is disgusting and highlights the mentality of these vermin.

In a better country, they would be hunted, caught and then have something utterly unspeakable done to them. smile
