Now, although this area isn't generally your scummy scroat infested one, nor is it one where you expect to see a 360 Spyder every day!
Or a 430 even smile although the screenshots make its proportions look a little odd

Call me grumpy, irrational and tired, but I don't like this new streetview. I find it just a tad too intrusive. It just isn't necessary.

My house is on one of the 1% of the road network that didn't get caught.

Thank you to the 'Unsuitable for Motor Vehicles' sign at the top of the lane!

We can date that as the 2nd Oct 2009 based on the newspaper though smile (assuming it was bought that day)

I was surprised enough to find my dads village had been streetview'ed, but my mum's house is in the arse end of no where and that has been captured too. I couldn't find my own car (it was probably at my dads which you cant see from the road) but I did manage to find my mum's at work.

Neither my parents house or my aunt/uncle's house is on the new streetview.

They do both live down, what is technically, private roads so that's probably why biggrin

It's a bit inconsistent. They didn't go down my private drive. But they DID go down my pal's private road. I suspect it was left to the discretion of the individual driver.

Where my uncle lives, there is a lane that after a quarter mile, it becomes a private road which is exactly where they stopped! That part of the lane is marked private though. My parents house is down a private lane too but not marked as a private road but they didn't go down it anyway. Maybe they just thought it was an old farm track (it is biggrin) and didn't bother.

My new house is at a corner of a cul-de-sac and you can only see a bit of the house. smile

My old house is down a private lane too, and they stop exactly where the sign indicates this.

I'm sure for the sake of getting some photos down some private road that 0.001% of the public would want to see, it wasn't worth the potential bother of the newspapers picking up on the fact that they were snooping on private property.
