Good good... according to satellite view, where I live is still a field.
Oh dont get me started the satellite views are so out of date it does my nut I rely on these for er hobbies. Streetview will at least be more up to date I guess.

Looking forward to it can't wait.

Last updated 2004 confused Although it was monthly before that laugh

Or I am doing it wrong, which is likely.

Looking forward to it. It's a massive achievement/investment. I hope Google can actually now do useful things with it (SatNav with pictures is on the cards) and, of course, I am sure they've already thought out how to leverage the technology for a profit...

Are they releasing this update in one go tomorrow? Because I happened to notice earlier this week that there was rather more coverage than when I last looked; Warwick, Kenilworth and Leamington and various main A-roads in Warwickshire had been added. Although I don't check regularly so I'm not sure if that was an interim update.

That's because it's useful, I've used to look at the street a house for sale is in, it's also useful when you're planning a route for looking at the layout of some of the junctions etc on the way.

As already mentioned, I was surprised when looking a possible route for an American roadtrip just how much of the place is covered, including this place in the middle of nowhere:
Welcome to Swansea, California biggrin

Of course there will be!

My house won't be covered, I am sure, as I live in an unadopted cul-de-sac: my neighbour and I actually own it and we have to maintain it ourselves.
