Unfortunately, the brainwashing (which has been going on for some time now in this country) has now reached the stage of 'scary'. This is what it is intended to do, and that's why they involve the developing mind (ie kids - oops, sorry, 'young people' and they 'brainwash' them as early as possible now).
^This. Kids are very easy to influence. Get your propaganda in early and the rest is a piece of cake.
My kids got into trouble at school as they wouldn't believe the brainwashing, in fact my proudest moment was my son (age 12) telling me that he had told his science teacher that 'mum says all this man made global warming is codswallop', and then went on to ask what the woolly mammoths did to cause the end of the last ice age!
I wish I had kids, just to annoy the hard of thinking teachers who preach this kind of rot smile

Well done to your son clap
Interesting how the climate in these parts changed from Arctic to Temperate in less than 100 years at the end of the ice age. What we are experiencing now is tiny in comparison!

Ed Miliband insists that it was merely a matter of how things were phrased though rolleyes
Well he would say that wouldn't he? rolleyes

He has nailed his colours very firmly to the mast of the global warming ship (or has been told to nail his colours to the mast if you're a cynic). Now that the wet rot has set in on that particular boat he'll be trying to find a life raft ....

Pro-MMGW poll results down to 21% today, I see biggrin

What miliband said on teh radio this morning.

"Not sure about might, the facts are that in northern europe the IPCC the body looking at these says there is more than a 90% chance that we will have extreme rainfall if we don't act on climate change we used everyday language"

Not challenged on it all all by the radio 4 guy.

I suggest a complaint to the relevant department about the program! We've got to keep the pressure on to ensure they can't keep their message out there. We need the language to leave no doubt that these are not facts and they are not proven in any way.

PCC should be the people I would think, or the broadcasting one. Either way emails need to be fired off!

Err, I thought we were supposed to turn into a desert rather than get MORE (we have enough already) rain

Well, in that case I'm jumping on the MMGW bandwagon, I don't want an ice age, and I don't want more rain.
Does this mean that if we stop emitting CO2 we will get nice sunny, good weather - or is that MMGW still?

Thriplow Daffodil weekend looks like being a dud as no dafs have flowered due to the cold winter, a spokesman said "Thanks to climate change we look like having our first non event this year" or words to that effect.

That's right folks, CC/MMGW is now responsible for cold weather
