Halal schmalal. Whichever meat costs less to produce, I bet that's what you're really eating.

Utterly hysterical rubbish.

As pointed out above, eaten a curry recently?

Tried the KFC halal stuff and it's crap! It seems that they leave the gooey fatty stuff on there before frying it. Dixi is a lot better....

So a chicken fast food restaurant won't be serving pork products then? Right.

And the animals have to be alive before they are killed. Ok.

The slaughterhouse has to kill the animal in the name of Allah - not sure how that one works - would a sign do?

Seems pretty barmy and pointless to me.

Complaining about what you're eating when it's coming from KFC in any case seems a bit ridiculous.
yes

I used to work for a company who did a lot of repair work for KFC. Having seen areas that customers don't (Kitchens, staff rest rooms etc) there's no way i'd eat anything made there.

I was always under the impression that in the large volume Halal Abbatoirs the priest type fella is merely present on site, rather than involved in the ritual as such.

Yeah pretty much. As said many times before, this is a non-story and unsurprisingly for PH, this has turned into an Islamification of the UK 'we're all doomed' thread.

A curry house increases choice, this restricts it by banning non-halal food in the shop in question.

So your analogy is a fail.

Nope, a curry is likely to be halal, which you've eaten, with no protest you hypocrit. So your hysterical bks is a fail.

How does a curry being halal restrict choice? Now if there were no curry houses that would restrict choice.

I stopped going to KFC when they stopped employing staff who could speak english!

I think this is a bit of a non-story, although I can see how some would interpret it as further "Islamification". At the end of the day, KFC is a business there to make money, so if using halal meat can do that, then leave them to it smile

And KFC serving halal chicken in a few of their outlets restricts choice? Are you really that ridiculous? Get a grip. If you don't like fried chicken from there because it's halal, yet you can scoff a kebab or a curry which are likely to be halal, I'd suggest the problem is with you.

I never claimed that it did. Try reading for comprehension. My point was that your argument was irrational.

I didn't say curry houses serving halal food did restrict choice. It's the various hypocrits who frequent threads such as these who have suddenly found either their animal rights concerns or their concerns about the 'islamification' of the UK, who happily eat curry/kebabs, but are holding the hems of their skirts in terror about KFC serving halal chicken in a few outlets.

Comprehend that?

edited so as not to offend s2uart, lest I be accused of being unable to speak English again.
