"We would like to thank the passenger for his co-operation and understanding of the need to be vigilant in the current environment."
The current environment of fear which has been generated by several successive governments.Has anyone been listening to Talksport recently? Four times an hour we are told to report anything suspicious that we see in others to the authorities.
No call is a wasted one, we are told.
We'll be turning eachother in before the decade is out.
Horrible, horrible stuff.
I detest this kind of thing.

Welcome to Socialist Britain.
Thrown off a train owned by a privately owned rail company, privatised by which political party? Also, I assume that "rail community officers" are the PCSOs of the rail world.

As said earlier, it's what socialism is all about. It doesn't stop there though, that's a transition stage. It'll move bit-by-bit to communism. Who'd have believed it a few years ago that we would be encouraged to tell on each other in the way that we are now? Each an every suggestion for another way of spying on a miscreant is made to sound so reasonable, that those with little imagination think it's OK in isolation, but they don't see the whole picture, how we are being brainwashed to (sleepwalk into) accepting a police state.
I'd have been inclined to tell these guys nothing at all. They are not police, they have no right to know anything about me, nor anything I am doing. I am not causing any offence nor committing one, and if I was committing one, they should call the police.
If this were me I would have insisted the police were called, and suggested anyone who felt threatened by me should feel free to leave the train. If they then chose to discuss it further wiht me in public, let them do so, but I would not answer any questions, merely say writing words on a piece of paper is not an offence.
Remain calm, dont make a scene or cause any disturbance, and I cannot see what on earth these "security" guards could do? Surely they would not be allowed to manhandle you off a train for doing nothing but writing on a piece of paper?
I'd also suggest that the fact these guys are reading what someone is writing on their own piece of paper is far more intrusive than anything he himself was doing! As a passenger, if I saw this going on, ie some guys trying to read what someone else is writing or maybe tapping on a laptop, I'd be asking them "what are they doing".

WELL SAID!!! I'd be inclined to tell these commie 2@s to Foxtrot Oscar, and enquire why they think they can read something private! If this were me I would have insisted the police were called, and suggested anyone who felt threatened by me should feel free to leave the train.
