Good luck and best wishes to all the tax dodgers on here who are currently battling their way through the dissertation/fyp reports.

I can't wait for it all to be over and finally get to escape into the big bad world, just not quite so bright eyed and bushy tailed as we were 3/4/5 years ago when we were all freshers!

I just hope it's been worth it.

28th May 2010 = drinkbouncewoohoo etc.

And then plenty of moanranting whilst trying to look for a job! hehe

Just finished my dissertation and essays for this year, just got exams to go, I think a week or two of liver abuse is required before looking at any more work.

Cheers and good luck to yourself beer

I started mine 2 weeks before the deadline... I finished in 10 days! My final session was 20 hours straight to get it finished.

Impressive! My final shift was 10 hours, starting at 6am the day before it was due, never do I want to do anything similar again, it really does teach you the importance of planning and time management.

i wrote most of my thesis in one month, in the evenings through to about 3/4am, and going to work everyday too.

So not doing another PhD.

Mine's due on Thursday and I'm 10k words in now :/
Annoyingly it's not the end of it though, as I'm on the Masters and this is the BEng one that doesn't even really count towards my overall grade

Well mine's up to 10 pages of guff writing now with a good ten pages of CFD images and graphs of pressure plots.

I'm on the way there but the next few weeks are going to be tough!

Sounds similar to the Red Bull induced mental illness I've battled through in the library many a time. I've not managed 20 hours yet, but have done 9am to 4am straight to get a piece of coursework I had forgotten about done. tongue out

That is glorious. My title is probably known in the industry as a bullst methodology, seems to work well at our place with some big savings.
Have you finished yet? Ive just printed off my 6th "Final" Draft and have already got my red pen on it making ammendments

Fuid Structure Interaction of a Membrane.

It's getting there... slowly... being hampered by my incompetence with FEA software at the moment though. frown

Finished it 5 years ago when I did my BSc! Really enjoyed it actually, many hours spent in the lab freezing rat brains and slicing them in uber thin sections and then applying multiple chemical processes to get the desired effect.

There's a good sense of pride when you finish a good dissertation. cool

I loved doing my BA dissertation, so much research cloud9

Unfortunately my MA dissertation title was editted repeatedly by the exams board over several months and by the time it was finally approved I was seriously struggling to see where I could go with it banghead
