Yeah one burglar got killed and the home owner was let off; and one burglar got hit with a cricket bat a few times and the home owner was imprisoned. The difference being the home owner who killed the burglar just happened to do it near an election.

Don't be an idiot. The guy who was jailed got someone to help, chased the guy down the street and beat him with a cricket bat. The guy who has not been jailed struggled with the guy inside the house and, it seems, narrowly avoided getting stabbed himself.

Second one clear cut self defence, first one not so much. It's got fk all to do with the election.
