I'm currently in Hong Kong on business and my scheduled flight is 9.40am Friday.... I am absolutely praying to god that air space is open and I can get home!!! I will be checking in on the dot 48 hours before the flight is due to leave!!! Am I the only person that doesn't like HK or is it because I'm here on my own?!?!
The normal online checkin period is 24 hours (or 23 hours for some weird airlines!)

Perhaps chill out on Lantu Island for a bit biggrin
biggrin I think I will take a trip to HK Island tonight and find other English people... that always helps!!
Don't you mean Lamma, John? Lantau is that horror that is known as Disco Bay and the crappy Big Buddha?

Mewsta, get yourself to Lan Kwai Fong, walk up to the top and find the Brew House, pull up a chair at the bar, and you'll end up meeting other expats. If Jun's still running the place he'll look after you (avoid Donna the crazy 'Pino barmaid though - great arse, but mad as a box of frogs).
Cheers Bing o, one of the lads in the office lives there, really nice guy so gonna head up there with him after work for a few hours!! Should chill me out a bit I suppose! smile

Mine's definitely 48 hours... I did it when I left for Sydney and again when I left Sydney for HK....

If you are going to Lamma, there are some excellent seafood restaurants and cheap beers there smile

Well, I'm here on business until thursday which is when I have accomodation to.... If it happens that I'm here longer I will move to a nicer hotel as at the moment I'm in Mongkok near the office. I'd rather be near some english pub grub and walking distance to an english pub to pass away the evenings! smile
