Idiots. Have we stooped so low that a general election and a number one single are ranked as equally important?
It would appear that we have.Remember: nearly everyone is a dumb like rocks. If it wasn't this it would be based on how hot the leaders' wives were...

I bet 99% of these new LibDem "converts" haven't even looked at their policies.
Oooh, he looks like a nice man. He's so shiny and smiley, and says such refreshing things from the other two. Let's vote for him.
Never mind the fact that they will not build any new nuclear power stations (where will our power come from, magic beans?), smash you for having a nice car, or remove any point of aspiring to do better in your job as you will be taxed through the floor.
FFS, did we learn nothing from the election of Blair?

At this stage of history, either...the general population will take control of its own destiny and will concern itself with community interests guided by values of solidarity and sympathy and concern for others or alternately there will be no destiny for anyone to control.

Lib Dem's are nutters - their policies on most things are unfounded and barely cover the veneer of middle class apologist background that they really are. Nope - not for me. A wasted vote I am afraid.

Just one example.

Lib dems should be able to convert layabout labour voters, low to middle income workers and conservative voters who have lived out of their means (were they really conservative voters?).
Everyone else - carry on.
But at the worst it will rid us of brown. I dont mind a hung parliament - Id rather have continuous democracy within parliament of three parties full of politicians debating the issues - rather than a quick vote where my vote isnt even counted - for the winning government to have misled or lied in their manifesto.

Chomsky is an interesting bloke with a lot to add. He has anarchist tendencies, however his lack of grasp of human nature/economics pushes him down this communitarian eutopian ideal which could never happen. -Noam Chomsky
