There you go. Plenty of water and the only price is having to see skinny, waxed fellows in Speedo swimming trunks seaside. biggrin
scratchchin

Wasn't there horrendous flooding where you live a couple of years ago Jimbeaux?
Certainly was. Before you ask, no speedos (weenie bikini) here, I adjust to the right. biggrin
Jim where you live do you get through a lot of handcream?

Its a shame that the media is pro jews anti muslims, I would expect some funny bizare crap to come out of the holes on the faces of zionist jews and ultra orthadox jews, shame we dont get it reported to laugh and make jokes of.

eta - maybe PH could have 20 threads on what the freaky jews say.
Why not, all religious beliefs end up extending ideas until they become ludicrous.

Until the world is free of religions they will continue to cause trouble.

DNA testing cannot differentiate between Jews and Arabs from that region. They're both of common decent.

Rather than acting as members of the same family, which they are, they argue over the same land.

Religion provides a sense of personal and group identities.

Take it out of the equation and neither side has reason to quarrel.

The same applies to most of the conflicts in history.

Come on, Jim. There's loads of readily available Christian freaky crap. The internet is full of it.

It doesn't surprise me one bit that there are a wide range of Islamic Loons. This is because there are a wide range of loons. yes
All true. There is no loon shortage period. smile

No comparison IMO. "God bless" this or that has been uttered by every President and every PM throughout history. Whether they believe in God or not does not match up to a Cleric, possibly holding an official position, claiming that earthquakes are directly proportionate to slutiness is absurd. Keep trying to compare the two, we can do this all day long.
Both are absurd, it's just the level of absurdity.
The level is exactly the point.

Congratulations; you have confirmed what I thought. In your eyes, Judeo–Christian = good, Islam = bad.

Personally I think anyone who believes in God/religion is nuts but for you, Islam is worse I assume because it's mainly brown, non-white people who believe in it?

Edited by inkiboo on Wednesday 21st April 12:57
I said no such thing, I said that their looniness is always readily available from sources everyday from this cleric's idiocy to yet another cartoon fiasco. Put words in your own mouth, not mine. As for the "Brown non-white" cr@p. Play the race card someplace else, it is very stale here.

Judging by the amount of flooding we endure and the logic being applied, I would assume we do. smile Do you go through a lot of kneepads in your neck of the woods? I am of course referring to prayer mats, not anything perverted of course. wink

Most people here take what those folks say in context and some politicians give them lip service. Trust me, policy is based upon either true pragmatism or political gain. I fear that certain Middle Eastern governments take it far more seriously. Note I said governments, not the whole of ME nations.
Jim, I'm not saying that religious figures in the US have the same clout as clerics in the ME, but the crap they spout is no different. They also do have influence on a portion of the population, which is why these names are not unknown. You also seem to be forgetting Palin, Bush, Huckerbee, etc. They ARE politicians.

How about Rush Limbaugh?

"You know, a couple of days after the health care bill had been signed into law Obama ran around all over the country saying, 'Hey, you know, I’m looking around. The earth hadn’t opened up. There’s no Armageddon out there. The birds are still chirping.' I think the earth has opened up. God may have replied," he said on his radio show Friday.

No question. I still find it shocking how religious this country is. In Indiana as an alternative to the perfectly good standard state license plate you can choose to have one showing your support for Purdue or IU or the blessed Colts (I'm not allowed to have a Patriots one though hehe) or various other teams and causes or you can elect to have one that loudly proclaims "In God we trust". In this sports mad city maybe 5% have a sports or cause endorsing plate but at least 50% declare their trust in the Lord courtesy of the BMV.

No more difficult than you with your "going through the handcream" quote. Perhaps you suffer a bit from a case of "able to dish it out but not take yourself"? hehe
