Sometimes its nice to live in Swindon, actually, most days its a positively nice place to be. Today it got even nicer as Gordoom's attempt to get PR in Swindon hit the buffers.

The one eyed gimp had arranged a photoshoot at a local school only the local council is all Tory and he got a bit of a surprise when the council banned his photo op in the school. They prevented all press and cameras onto the site.

Gordon hope you enjoyed our town but bon voyage. The only shot of the day was as the kids got to wave him off at the gate

A spokesman said the Local Government Act 1986 meant the authority "cannot allow electioneering on any council premises or property in the official pre-election period".
You'd think that a political party that’s claiming to be the best choice to run this country, would be aware of a 24 year old law, that would prevent them from photo ops at schools................but then again we've had 13 years of labour incompetence, so this is just another example of their collective stupidity, after all they have managed to use a new and unopened hospital to launch parts of their campaign, so it’s not as though nobody at Nazi central didn’t know about this law

Nope, I used to have to go to meetings at Northstar house every month and stay at the Great Western, I just reckon that the one eyed git is a nasty piece of work and given the opportunity would try to get his revenge.

Worked there myself but thats by the by. As a town its actually a good earner with some very big employers based here with good transit links so doubt brown could have an impact. Even the bloody bbc are moving here now
