Hardly surprsing is it.

This would NOT have made the news if it wasn't for that other incident, which is what I find amusing.

Speaking of which, we haven't had a killer dog attack story for a few months? That will happen again soon, and then 5 other minor dog attack stories will follow. Promising young footbalist etc etc

fk the press.

Probably not no, but be nice for the clueless townies who want hunting banned to welcome the foxes with open arms.

Maybe if people would stop feeding them they might actually be scared of humans?

Oi, some of us support fox hunting, just choose not to partake in any of it other than the drinking.

meh I've shot more foxes than I care to remember, to hell with them, I say. The ones that live in towns are bloody horrible things anyway.

Maybe time to do a poll in the town where these attacks have taken place

Dear shell suit wearing scum, do you mind if us Toffs kill a few foxes?

'It is believed the fox turned on the boy when he saw the animal's tail sticking out from under a building and tried to stroke it. '

All part of growing up. That information will now be stored alongside the 'do not touch a hot kettle' and 'probably best not to stick scissors in a power socket'.

The parents however, will quite possibly go a bit mental.

Apparently the 3 year old was a promising young fox hunter.

Agreed, & maybe if the pikey types stop chucking their takeaway garbage on the street, there wouldn't a readily available food supply.

You're not a Toff, you're just another fking yokel, whose fat stubby fingers, have managed, by chance, to stab the right keys on a computer and connect to the internet.

Two, that's TWO attacks does not an epidemic make. Go back to your village, you idiot.

TBH I don't really want a load of horses galloping through my back garden chasing a fox. I'd rather someone shot it in the head.

Not particularly, no. In fact I'm not particularly anti-hunt, but if the guy wants to start tossing aroung expression like "townies" then it guarantees a response.

Yes my thoughts exactly

The toff comment was actaually a piss take of clueless townies who think that everyone who hunts is a toff with a plumby accent.

Re shooting them, it's not the best method as if you miss it may last for days in agony as the wound is infected, with hounds it is either dead or alive no half measures.

There was a fox in some cricket grounds in the southern area of England (Portsmouth?). They used a professional marksman to kill him. Should they have had the horses and hounds run over the cricket green? biggrin

When I was a child I was clawed by a neighbours cat because I thought it would be funny to grab it by its tail as it walked past.

It was a pet, not a wild animal, can't say I'm a huge fan of cats but not because I was clawed by one, and to this day I know not to pull a cats tail.

I don't get this news coverage of wild animals doing what wild animals do, I really don't, and I despair if this is supposedly fking newsworthy.

Would have been a more clear cut outcome if they had.

No shooter is going to hit it every time.

Must admit when I read that I thought 'yeah right - the kid grabbed it's tail' and non of this stroking crap
