Well, I guess cos she's a 14 year old, it made more sense than leaving the child on her own, assuming she was travelling with her guardian(s). For amusement value, the 8 stone passenger should sue the airline for being thinnist.

I think you'll find that that reefers to her travel status on the plane.

either she was accompanied by her parent or guardian to check her into the flight in which case they could have asked them to wait while they checked on the size issue, or her parents sent her there by herself, in which case it really is a none issue if she is unable to take the 1st flight and has to wait longer on her own for the next. Plus she’s a fatty so I think she is safe from all the pedos

Fatty fourteen year old was flying on her own. If shes old enough to do that and she doesn't fit on the plane shes also old enough to wait on her own. Failing that she can buy two seats.

Presumably by the time anyone figured out that her size was an issue because the flight was full the parent/guardian wasn't around. So they either bumped someone else or made her wait in the terminal or a hotel, in which case the Wail really would have had a field day.
