One thing about her 'explanation' of the events which I feel should have been brought up is the point about who gave her the 'dirty stones'.

If someone knocked on your hotel room door in the middle of the night, what would you do?

Personally, I'd look through the spyhole or if there wasn't one, ask who it was knocking.

If it turned out to be two men I had never seen or heard of before, I doubt I would open the door and I don't know any women who would. Yet Ms C, who makes a big thing about her personal security all the time, states that she got up and opened the door to two men she had never met before.

bks.

I think maybe she was given the diamonds by someone she knew well enough to open her door to in the middle of the night. Maybe that person was even invited in for a nightcap...
Now you are spoiling the story with facts & logic biggrin

& Mandela's role in all this?

So Mia Farrow's now giving evidence (it seems everyone but me is giving evidence) - and she completely contradicts what Campbell said in her statement last week.

Not surprised. never expected NC to tell the truth unless is suited her.

Yeah, switched over earlier to see this on BBC News 24. Seems that Mia Farrow has dropped Campbell right in the dung over this. Seems that her testemony saws that Campbell knew damn well that they were uncut diamonds - not quite what she said previously. Lets see what happens, but IIRC perjury is not possible in these trials. Shame.

If her ex-agent backs up Farrow, could NC be in contempt and be brought to account?

The nice gentleman for the prosecution is very gently doing an excellent character assination on the slow-witted Farrow hag.

Be nice to see what else is going on in the world. Sky and BBC pandering for a good moment? This is as dull as ditch water.

Ms. Farrow appears to come across as rather dense. She also seems to say one thing, then say that she can't be sure and then says that she can't remember at all!

Terrible witness for the prosecution.

Good performance though on "Death on the Nile" or something similar.

utter pretentious stuck up cow.
And let's not forget she's about as violent in nature (as well as vile) as Taylor and his acolytes. No wonder she doesn't give a st - if anyone stands in the way of what she wants she'd be just like him and do them. Total .

Now come on, just remember that Saint Nelson is beyond any criticism, might hinder the beatification process.

Vying with Tony Blair for first place I understand.

Maybe Tony is a neck in fron after his miraculous conversion to Roman Catholicism about 10 minutes after he left Downing St.

As for NC - who cares about her? That vile Taylor buy could usefully do with a long sentence though. I'm only surprised Mark Thatcher isn't on the list of witnesses. When there's trouble in Africa....

Interesting that the head of the charity who she gave the stones to said there were "three small stones" yet Mia Farrow says she received a 'huge' diamond.

I blame the media for constantly raising the profile of these vacuous, vain people and portraying them as celebrities.

She walks up and down in an outfit. Nobody should even know who the fk she is.
She's one of the highest paid models in the world and has been for nearly 20 years. The companies that hire her to model their outfits and appear in their magazines have done so because they like how she looks and what she does and they sell their wares as a result. To pretend that she's a nobody is massively ignorant of the multi $billion industry. Sure she's not the most intelligent human being and far from being the nicest but she's not paid to be those, it's no different from the sort that are paid a fortune to kick a ball about.

That White is a proper snake ain't she ? I mean she said that the men told her they were sent by Taylor and an hour later confirmed she didn't know exactly who the men were . That Facebook stuff was good evidence and it just shows her contempt at every single person that died searching for diamonds

As regards the important isse - Taylor's war crimes trial - the key thing is that there were diamonds handed over. Whether they were several small ones or one big one makes no difference.

Since Naomi's mate Jeremy Ratcliffe says he "still has the diamonds" I wonder why no-one seems to be asking him?
