The scary thing is over 30% of voters think she is suitable to be home secretary.

I'll put a tenner on that the shoe on the right foot is actually a 'left' foot shoe too.
I was thinking exactly the same thing. So not only has she got two different shoes on, which in fairness could be put down to a brain fart given her back catalogue, they are 2 left shoes.

I challenge any human, and this includes small children to not notice this before walking out of the door.

The only thing I can think of is she knows about this because she lost a bet during a late night sess with Corbyn and chums. The result of this was she had to exit the house bare foot to go and vote, and the only shoes she would be allowed to wear were the ones found by the roadside, in bushes or in a skip.

Abbott at the polling station in what appears to be odd shoes!

yikes

There is something seriously wrong with her mentally. No idea what it is, but there's no other explanation. That is not the behaviour demonstrated by someone with full capacity. Even my 5yr old can be trusted to put a matching pair of shoes on the right feet without help.

I'm an no fan of Abbott's whatsoever, but someone should be looking out for her. She shouldn't be any where near politics though, that's obvious.

Any thing Guido posts needs double checking. They have been pushing a lot of porkies lately.

Tbf I haven't seen DA being actively involved in politics for a while.
She seems to have the symptoms of someone that has suffered a stroke, which obviously I hope is not the case.

Has she gone into hiding? Or have Labour locked her up for the pre-election period?

With Mogg apparently.

He is going to come out blinking into the light tomorrow. I think we should tell him that the Martians have taken over whilst he was locked up.

Hope Meg hasn't been pushing herself to hard in this election campaign, can't be easy being late stage pregnant.

She is pregnant right?

It wouldn't surprise me if she has dementia, she's certainly afflicted with something that's causing her to deteriorate. She struggles to find words, frequently appears confused as to what she wants to say and now odd shoes? Much as I don't like her I wouldn't wish that on anyone frown

They do say that to really know a person, you should walk a mile in their shoes.

That way, you will be a mile away from them, and you will have their shoes! smile

Read above. It appears to be legitimate.

The one and only time she's appeared in public during the election and she can't even put her shoes on properly!

Next week she could be home Secretary!!!!!

I have now. Guido has been peddling crap recently, anything it says needs double checking.

Not a fan, but is it not possible she's simply got an issue with her foot? One shoe looks larger than the other, so perhaps it's a case of finding something comfortable? I did similar many moons ago after having an ingrown toenail removed - looked a bit daft, but it did the trick. I can't recall anyone suggesting I had dementia or gleefully suggesting I was mentally incapable of dressing myself.
None of that explains why she didn't put matching shoes on or why they are both left feet....

That's exactly why I lay my clothes out in the evening. Oh and to make sure I look fabulous.

On a seriouser note, it's sad how these days Politics is entirely based on discrediting your opponent and smear campaigns, rather than looking at their suitability for the role, past accomplishments and future agenda.

I suspect she is probably just knackered and hopped out the car, with a few pairs in the footwell. They look like the usual crappy flats women wear, not glove like Sportivas

i agree about description opponents rather than engaging with them.

Jonathan Aitken is godfather to her son. Leadsom and Jess Phillips are mates and drinking buddies. I think for most MP's they're thrust together and on a personal level actually get on and we forget that when they are being dehumanised.

It's usually fairly easy to spot when an MP is generally proper st and disliked by the others, just as it is in a workplace. .....

Anything anyone posts about politics needs to be approached with an extremely high level of scepticism at the moment. Politics 2019, plausible lie contest.

I've had an ingrown toenail removed, at no point afterwards did I think "I know what will relieve the pain, wearing a shoe on the wrong foot".
