It is not everyone fking right to go to university!
(Devils advocate) And yet we're all entitled to a free educationIt is the duty of the population at large to make sure that the next generation is educated to a certain standard. So I dont have a problem paying for everyone to attain A levels. That is as far I want to go. Any higher education is an investment that an individual chooses for his/her future. Why should the general population invest in potato peeling degrees at cambridge?
If you dont have the balls to take up education worth 60k as a loan to be a Doctor and repay it over a long period in small amounts, then you are not worth it in my book!
People in this country have got used to getting everything for free and the concept of tax payers funding fellow countrymen has been replaced with the concept of individual rights owed by the state! bks.
This is how we should deal with it (skip to 3:30, see how they stop with the flashbangs )
German Police
German Police
I think they've done their cause more harm than good tbh.
Personally I've no issue with marches/protests, but at the point it becomes violent or property is damaged the rules change IMO and they should be treated as criminals much the same as if I nipped down to my local nick and kicked their windows in.

The rules should be, have your march in peace.. If you bring violence, we'll (Police) will bring violence too and see who comes out on top.
End of.
German Police
Throw rocks?
Want to get arrested?
I'll stop posting pictures now, but our police really need to be more heavy handed in these situations, like the German police, tell the innocents to separate themselves from the trouble makers, then deal with the trouble makers.
Water Cannons, Flashbangs, and lots of heavy handed police = little or no damage done, they certainly wouldn't get in a German political parties HQ!!

Apropos meaningless degrees - last month we interviewed a bloke for a reporter job who had an M.A. (yes a MASTERS) degree in journalism. I asked him what he thought he had learned from it that he could apply in the real world. His answer - "I'm not quite sure".
He didn't get the job
An MA in Journalism? Where can I do one of these? I've studied PH's for years theres a dozen dissertations contained on this site.He didn't get the job

I'm obviously missing something but the news showed 3-4 people kicking in a window whilst the Police stood right next to them watching. Why didn't they arrest them there and then for criminal damage?
I wondered exactly the same thing!petrolsniffer said:
Love the YouTube adverts trying to tempt me to stay at a hotel in the vicinity.petrolsniffer said:
