cats are smaller anyway, you tend to use scissors or a paring knife for them.

You can take the law into your own hands...

but ffs not another man's b******s!

No way can you condone this. Give the other guy a beating perhaps?

When he's inside, as he surely will be, he'll get his just rewards.

this thread would be going a totally different way if the daughter was some arbitrary number of years/months younger, depending on the country.

He was never going to be inside. The law says your daughter is fair game.

Now, what are you going to do about a predatory old perv. when it's your daughter?

I'd be more annoyed that I'd brought up a daughter who clearly has daddy issues tbh.

but she is 17, and therefore is has got precisly nothing to do with him.
Is she not still a minor under law?
Age of consent in Germany is 14, with special rules for 16 and under
Age of majority in Germany is 18
AFAICS, Martin's bang on the money. This relationship had, in law at least, the square root of fvck all to do with the girl's father.
This may be, but I think he had justification to intervene.

Maybe having a quiet word would have been a better option initially though.

17 is post pubescent, it's nothing like paedophilia, it's legal and the father deserves to hang for a grotesquely violent attack.

It is a sicko that believes mutilating someone in this way is acceptable behaviour.
It's borderline sicko behaviour to be a 57 year old grown man praying on 17 year old girls imho. However two wrongs don't make a right, a quiet word with a good slapping would have definitely have been in order if it were my child though.
Not sure how this is attempted murder though.
At what age should you stop fancying 17 year old girls then? Are you allowed to fancy 19 year old girls? 20? Do they really look that different?

Plenty of PHers were sniffing after Emma Watson and she still looks like a kid to me. I don't think we should be breaking out the cutlery, though.

(Above vitriol not pointed at you, incidentally. And I agree a stern chat or (slightly) worse might have been appropriate.)

it should be obvious there is a chance that removal of a body part could lead to extreme blood loss, that will therefore lead to death, and therefore a day off work for everyone but the vicar.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't think you have major arteries servicing your grapes. 'The snip' is a walk in/out operation.

A leg, yes of course...
Go cut your jubblies off and report back wink

Of course you could ask why she went for a father figure to bed.

Had dad been playing at home?

Older going for younger is genetics to do with the ability to breed. However when a young person goes after someone so much older they normally have either psychologically been damaged or they have chosen the person due to some other advantage they bring ( wealth or fame) and are very much not being taken advantage of.

So being a copper, what would you do if she was your daughter?

I'd wonder where I had gone wrong.

I'd sit her down and speak with her.

I'd tell her I'm not happy.

I'd not go after him as 17 is completely legal. I'd not go after him as I'd have zero legal standing.

I'd not go after him as it would definitely push her more to him.

At the end of the day you as a parent can only do so much.

I'd be more concerned about my 14 year old with an 18 year old boy.

I'd be looking at where my parenting failed as she would be after a father figure.

Not really. I just don't support castration of People not breaking any laws when the fault for her interest in a much much older man probably lies at home. It will also not bring her back but more likely increase her rebelliousness.

The dad should have watched the film HardCandy you don't need to actually castrate someone to have the desired effect. Great film if you haven't watched it.

she may actually be taking advantage of him.

whether you have a daughter or not its legal and perfectly acceptable imho if they are both consenting - what's to argue?
