Assuming that you mean The Mail, they consistently oppose this sort of thing. Juding by the content of my MILs mail I'm surprised it isn't the official PH newspaper, it almost reads like PH sometimes.

I love the whole UAE "biggestbestevah" thing... Gold vending machines. Why? I bet their Christmas Day lunch menu is a laugh- sparrow stuffed with beluga caviar inside a rare Patagonian snowgoose draped with swarovski necklaces...
