What a load of crap that show was, 3 millionaires doing the same stuff they always do that was humourous first time round, but now just so predictable. Can't see Top Gear surviving much longer. I wonder how much that load of crap actually cost us?

I laughed when Clarkson said "now we've come to the part of the show where viewers who are interested in cars can switch off" as if there had been anything remotely interesting up to that point! An ageing comedy farce, yes, a car show, no.
Well, stick to Fifth Gear then. And it has probably cost us negative a couple of million (that's a profit for the hard of thinking) when they sell the rights globally. TG is the best car show out there - if you think you can do better, either switch the fking thing off or make your own car show.

"Ohh look at the twinlet cam manifolds on my triple V19 engined Talbot Sunbeam, kiss my beard".

A load of crap... BUT you watched it!!
It's death knell has been sounded... every year!
It's 'entertainment'... it's meant to be.

I guess I'm just getting old lol, a few years ago I would probably have found it funny too, now I just see straight through it.

I believe it is illegal to dress as a woman here (UAE) so must be in Syria too?

The penalty for such an act is a jail term, lashing and even experimental hormone treatments. Can you imagine Clakson with a massive dose of testosterone?

They showed the Israel bits on the news here yesterday, and Clarkson looked truely amazed at seeing the sea of Galilee, which was nice. He should come back in 5 years when it's completely dried up.

It was a Burqah, so hardly sexy lingerie.

Come on there where three "freebie" complaint targets.

1. May and the Africa corps BMW.

2. The dressing as women.

3. The baby stig in place of Jesus.

I'm certain they deliberately court some controversy, they where fairly good at poking some fun at the whole political situation out there.

Tbh, reading a lot of his columns, he's my hero also. He's no idiot and he speaks sense, a lot of the time.

Of course. More publicity for the show.

As to the OP, I am sure that every episode of TG manages to offend at least someone.......

Given his previous comments about women in burquas he could have gone for stockings under it.

TV Clarkson is just a character thats grown into a cartoon, written Clarkson is far far better, one small reason to subscribe to the Times . . . . . . . . but I also like Winners dinners, so you may be right after all hehe

no signs of the front page "scandalised reporting" anywhere.

only the daily star seems to have an article linking to this...

and even then they just mention quite a few twitter texts - and they're hardly complaints against them wearing the burka more so against the show's lack of sense *LOL*

At least one of the next half a dozen wars over there will be over a water dispute.
