It's a long time since I properly studied International Terrorism (for want of a better title) so I'm pretty rusty on this area but on the face of it this is very interesting and "good" news.

Let's see how things develop. It wasn't all that long ago that Ulster was rife with terrible violence. Things are an awful lot better there now. (Unless you want to run a bath or boil a kettle, admittedly).

We'll see. Most terrorist organisations contain a wide spectrum of views and all it would take to spark the violence up again is a break-away hardline element not toeing the line.

yes Although IIRC one of the main guys has been arrested recently so possibly they've just run out of steam.

I read the title as edited to add initially which caused me some confusionhehe
