Ooh - Politician in buttering up someone he needs something from shocker!
I find the most disturbing aspect of this article is the pathetically needy attitude of some Brits towards the Yanks - they don't love us, they're our allies because they need something from us, and vice versa.
We'll all be China's bh in 30 years' time anyway.
I couldn't quite describe what I was thinking about this, but that is the perfect way of saying it. We sound like a desperate little school boy whose getting upset because the bigger, better looking boy we idolized and followed around has started paying attention to someone else, leaving us crying in the corner saying "how could he hurt us like that".I find the most disturbing aspect of this article is the pathetically needy attitude of some Brits towards the Yanks - they don't love us, they're our allies because they need something from us, and vice versa.

fk me, some people need to get a grip and stop getting so worked up that America wants to make the most out of (and hence try to flatter) other countries too.

Seriously though, cannot see either man surviving after 2012, given the economic problems facing both countries.
Judging from experience from my visits to Texas and California a few months ago. President Obama is exactly Mr Popular.
Notwithstanding a Democrat governor was elected in California in November, 2010.
Mexifornia isnt realy America and as for Obama I guess Most americans who voted for him did so like we did when we voted consevative, It was for any thing but the incumbant party.. Talking to friends on both sides of the mason dixon line... the view seems to be the sooner the SOB is out of the woodhouse sorry white house the better... This is absolute crap IMO. I personally apologize for this tt. The fact that France better reflects BHO's socialist manifesto should have zero bearing on what Great Britain has meant and continues to mean to us in terms of history, culture, like-mindedness, and relationship. I am so very sorry. I will do my bit in 2 years.

California and liberal Democrats go very much hand in hand. Arnold was an oddity to the norm.Judging from experience from my visits to Texas and California a few months ago. President Obama is exactly Mr Popular.

So in one sentence he's insulted the British, confused the French and possibly annoyed his own people (who still hold a grudge over the whole Iraq thing).
Why do so many people outside of America like him?
Because he is the antithesis of what America is and stands for; therefore, those who dislike us for whatever reason, adore the tt.Why do so many people outside of America like him?

Im all for this, withdraw all our troops and let the French take up the slack, they have an army right?
I am mad at this too; however, remember, you have no troops in Iraq and the Stan is a NATO mission, not just a U.S. one. rhinochopig said:

The French like only the French, screw the rest of the world. Something in a way I've always admired about France.
I'm glad he doesn't represent the people even though he does speak on their behalf.
He's the only person who could have made Gordon Brown look succesful in power.
