So, Assange now has information about trillions of pounds in offshore accounts, outside of any governmental reach.

He plans to publish all of the details of these accounts and their holders.

Interesting. Wonder who has money on the list.........

Could present an interesting problem for USG if it highlights tax evasion in America. Aren't government employees banned from reading it? laugh

All of them.

Now we'll see where all the aid went.

It could make the MP's expenses scandle seem like a mere blip.

Agree 100%, but I suspect he's left a poison pill which might just keep him alive and out of jail.

I'm quite hoping a Bhutto and a sharif are in there.. maybe a musharaff. though hoping the Pakistan public will realise what douches for leaders they have is a bit too much.

when the earthquake in Pakistan happened a few years back a huge wad-load was raised and asked to be put through the president musharaff's fund - very little actually reached them hence when the flooding happened this time around - not many people within the paksitani community were forthcoming.

Also agreed, but he's playing a bloody dangerous game. Either that or he's one very assured and cool customer.

I'm pretty sure that the information will have come from a government source.
