The BBC has received more than 70 complaints about Sunday night’s episode of Top Gear.
Given that it's the single most popular entertainment programme on the telly, maybe some of them were actually watching this time?thewail said:
A spokesman for the corporation said: 'We have received a letter from the Mexican ambassador and shall respond to him directly.'

Hmmmm. We shall see.
It won't. It just won't. No legal aid for defamation, and she doesn't look to me like she can afford £500 per hour for a libel lawyer.boredofmyoldname said:
The fact the lawyers are called Equal Justice and took action against C4 because Shilpa Shetty got a bit pissy led me to think they were the kind of people who would take on a high profile bit of work for no upfront fee to get noticed.
Yeah well, when the BBC win, which they will, they'll be claiming their costs. That's why this will go nowhere.

The presenters apparently feel that they are fighting a battle against political correctness. However, they are not permitted to use unlawful means to do so and broadcast their racist thoughts. A broadcast is a service and it is unlawful to product racist services.
This is bks. There is no such thing as a Mexican race. Mexicans are largely a bunch of mongrels. As someone who has worked in Mexico and with mexicans I can only, on the whole, support Hamster & Clarkson. A great generalisation is that they are lazy, unpunctual and more interested in work ending than beginning, although there are some shining examples (few and far between) as well who are the exact opposite! Mind you I was working in an agricultural area where the siesta normally takes 4-5 hours!

My fecking arse it is, this is the BBC, they can broadcast whatever the hell they want. It's unlawful for them to breach their Charter but they do, daily. The BBC Trust are supposed to monitor them, but don't. They come under investigation for their biased reporting and pensions investments and it comes to nowt. This'll go nowhere.Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
