Just followed the link, and JD still isn't listed as one of the guests.

Will listen to it a bit later (looking forward to it).
Fabulous stuff, Delingpole absolutely destroyed him. Amusing too.

This one I would guess.

I remember listening to Richard Bacon declare on his show that crop circles are made by aliens because what else could be responsible? The man is a credulous fool who would be out of his depth in a kindegarten science class so no wonder he's fully signed up to warmist nonsense.
1h16m13s in and you'll find the start... just about to listen to it.

Bacon done crispy.

Dellingpole was cogent and the tone of utter distaste and condescension in his voice was absolutely brilliant.

I think that was my favourite aspect. People in the car park must have thought I was mad as I kept laughing out loud at his caustic slapping down of Bacon's lame and obvious tricks and attempts to catch him out; ".. smartarse comments.." etc.

It was good to listen to - Bacon didn't like that at all. I wonder if he switched off Delingpole's mic when Bacon (just had to) get the last word regarding the Climategate 'scientists' and 5 reports said the 'science' was exonerated.
He was like Alan Partridge in the scene where he interviewed the local farmer - getting more petty as the points were stacking up against him!

Never liked Mr Bacon. Listening to him trying to defend his faith increased my dislike, He really is a weapons grade cock.
Top marks to Mr Dellingpole, kept it together and really gave it to him.

Is this the same Bacon that was rehabilitated by the BBC a few years back after a short sidelining following some issues with unlawful substances?

Or is it another one?

The only other bacon comes from a pig. Must be the one you mentioned...hehe

Thanks, lads, very enjoyable twenty minutes. How did that get past the BBC censor?

Bacon must have been on one of those epic courses run by Richard Black ..hehe

Well, I've just listened to it, and was initially a little disappointed as I expected more acerbic commentary from JD. However, as it went on, JD's disdain and well-aimed responses garnered quite a few rofl from me.

I think James could have killed the discussion stone dead when Bacon said, '...so you don't really know what global temperatures were centuries ago?'

Surely, to which, the response should be: 'neither do any of your climate scientists'

hehe This is the sort of honesty that has been missing from the climate debate clap

I've listened twice now, once last night (when only very slightly inebriated), and again this morning (not in the slightest inebriated) and would recommend it to anyone who hasn't listened yet.

As another poster mentioned I'm not sure how this got past the BBC censor.

A heads-up of a less salubrious nature...there is more alarmist piffle circulating, presumably relating to 'Climate Weak' wink which suggests that more and more people are 'joining up the dots' about extreme weather and impacts.

Presumably they refer to more and more people spotting the decline over the last 100 years under 'global warming' and realising it's cobblers.

Fwits.

I'm listening to it again as I've had a bad start to the day and need cheering up. Still no mention of JD being on the programme on iPlayer even though his bit was quite a significant chunk of it. Do you think the Beeb might be hoping nobody will find it.

Good ol JD clap Just listened to it through a fuzzy haze! Was on the edge of my seat when he mentioned the BBC and praying that he fried Bacon over their pension fund. Alas no. Gutted.
