that's the legacy of this whole world/humanity not just theirs, doesn't that justify a strong world coalition intervention? (US+Russia+Europe+eventually China)

Yup - Quite upsetting to see this on the news this morning.

Yet again, it simply shows how fragile their actual beliefs are - if they're scared that some carvings from a civilisation however old will tempt them to start worshiping other idols then the joke really is on them.

They are utter scum.

Very, very sad. Boris had a good article in the Telegraph a few weeks about this.
This is the beginning , not the end. Treat them & their ideology as a deadly disease.
Absolutely... but this is irreversible.

Awful but hardly even worth mentioning in the grand scheme of things they do though really;

Yes, broadly, but specifically - IMHO - because the public will to spend the necessary blood and treasure has been exhausted by the catastrophic misjudgements of Gulf II and Afghanistan. "Boots on the ground" in numbers is now inconceivable.

"In a statement Councillor Shakil Ahmed said: "My son is a good Muslim and his loyalties belong to Britain, so I don't understand what he's doing there."

Best you find out then mate, and while you're at it determine exactly what you and he understand a 'good muslim' to be

If only Cameron took a tough stance on the erosion of British values.

1st page, 1st para, 1st line - British values 1st. That's what people come to Britain for, "Councillor" Shakil Ahmed & extended family.

I have a great idea for it to stop, just provide Assad with the most modern GBUs!

also why BBC doesn't mention bombings by coalition forces? Is death by coalition bomb less painful?

One reason could be that coalition forces bombs have been rather limited in number by all accounts.

That and they've run out of chlorine or white phosphorous this week.
